EAST LONGMEADOW, MA The new hit book Havoc in the Hammock will be read and signed by Springfield-born author Kelly Russell Jaques! Books will be available for purchase and signing. Family Fun Day at the Depot on May 15 is a celebration of all local artist and entertainers… Live music is being provided by a local acoustic duo called ‘date night’, the Longmeadow and East Longmeadow library's are teaming up to do a craft, a local face painter, and the inventor of ‘Palmball’, Steve Creelman who grew up, and lives in Longmeadow demonstrating his new game. … and of course Ice cream, and coffee, breakfast & lunch options from the newest addition to the Depot ‘Kool Beanz’. Meet at The Depot Ice Cream for an afternoon of fun!

SUFFIELD GARDEN CLUB’S MAY MARKET BY PHELPS HATHEWAY HOUSE AND GARDEN SATURDAY, MAY 14, 2022 AT 9 AM – 3 PM 55 S MAIN ST, SUFFIELD, CT Goodbye winter, hello spring! Now in its 44th year, the Suffield Garden Club’s May Market officially marks the beginning of the planting season. This favorite community event and fundraiser promises a variety of annuals and perennials, trees and shrubs, home décor and local crafts – sure to chase away the winter blues. The market will be held rain or shine. This event coincides with Phelps-Hatheway’s Second Saturdays Series (1-3pm). Tours of the museum will be offered during the program and from 3-4pm with regular admission fee.

BRIMFIELD OUTDOOR ANTIQUES SHOW MAY 10-15 FROM DAWN TO DUSK BRIMFIELD, MA Brimfield is considered the largest outdoor antique show in the country. Up to 5,000 dealers and over 100,000 visitors throughout the week. The crowds can be large, but not uncomfortably so – remember, the Show takes place over almost 1/3 mile of Rt 20, easily going back 500' on each side of the road. The Brimfield shows operate three times a year during May, July and September and is open for a six day period beginning on a Tuesday and ending on a Sunday, Dawn to dusk, rain or shine! Food is available for sale in every field. The larger fields will have parking available for $5 - $10 depending on the day and location. Some of the shows charge admission. The fees are typically $5.00.
