The war between Iran-Iraq which is referred to as the first Gulf War started on September 22nd, 1980 at 12:00 in Baghdad time. High command center of war in Iraq issued flight orders of 192 bomber and fighter planes for air attack to Iranian airports. 20 minutes later, Adnan Kheirollah, defense minister of Iraq reported this issue to Saddam Hossein. As such, air war between Iran and Irag began and continued until August 20th, 1988 when cease-fire was called and 598 Agreement was signed between both parties. Marked areas on the maps shows the occupied teritorries of both sides of the war.(1980-88)
