FAQS AND INFORMATION

FAQS HOW SHOULD I SEND MY ARTWORK? The preferred format for artwork is vector based EPS, Adobe Illustrator.ai or Coreldraw.cdr files. High resolution images must be minimum 300 dpi in the following formats: Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, PDF or JPEG files. For PDF and Illustrator files, the images must be embedded into the file. All fonts must be converted to curves/outlines and artwork must be sized to the approximate print area for the best results. Print templates are available upon request. Please note that repeated requests for artwork modifications may incur an additional charge and affect your delivery schedule.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PANTONE AND CMYK? The simplest explanation is that Pantone is a spot colour system and CMYK is a process printing system. Pantone spot colours are solid inks assigned numbers that look the same no matter who prints them, which is why spot colour is especially important for corporate identities and branded images. CMYK colours, on the other hand, are created (processed) using a mix between Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black inks. Since they are not comprised of pigments, process colours provide an approximate colour match, but not an exact PMS match. As our full-colour printing process and inkjet print is CMYK, we recommend laying out documents in CMYK colours.
