• At 1/10th of a cent per impression, Calida Bay officials knew that pens had to be a large part of their campaign. They supplied hotels, restaurants, and local shops with pens to use during their work days.

• Knowing that drinkware makes 1,400 impressions over it's lifetime, the city pushed the decoration limits so visitors would be proud to show them off on their social feeds.

Micolino Hotel is a quaint, boutique hotel that repeatedly gets raving (and sometimes humorous) reviews from guests who enjoy their stay. Knowing the power reviews have online, they knew these also had to be part of their marketing strategy. They carried out their vision by leveraging branded products (pens, stationery, drinkware & bags) and making sure the reviews were visible to anyone who entered their lobby or stayed in a guest room. As new reviews are posted, the hotel introduces updated designs to the collection.

• Micolino Hotel found that carrying over the “review” campaign through to pens that are in all guest rooms, as well as stationary was a cost effective and consistent way to spread their message.

• Mugs with matching imprints were placed in guest rooms and the hotel breakfast area.

• A Cotton Canvas Boat Tote was selected as a perfect carryall while guests were out and about promoting the hotel.

Launch is an online school of entrepreneurship which offers supplemental education programs to high-school and middle-school students. Courses are designed to be taken during weekends, summers, and extended school breaks and creating a fun, positive experiences is a top priority for student engagement.

As part of their retention program, they developed “A Universe of Endless Possibilities” Kit for new students that included a printed course workbook and a few pieces of branded merchandise.

• Launch found that the branded merchandise and the overall “unboxing experience” played a critical role in their overall student satisfaction scores. It was one of the most notated highlights of returning students and peer referrals.

• To complement the student workbook, Launch chose a book of sticky notes and a highlighter/pen for notetaking. The full-color imprint areas on these items and the drawstring backpack and water bottle made it easy to show off the schools branded messages.

A Functional Way to Co-Brand

Fresh Point is chain of all-organic supermarkets whose mission is to bring healthier, more locally grown produce to their local communities. In addition to everyday in-store transactions, they separate the “imperfect” produce typically not attractive enough for store shelves, and donate them to lowincome schools, soup kitchens, shelters, churches and other places in need of healthier food choices. To carry out their mission, Fresh Point looked for local businesses and volunteers to co-sponsor their activities.

• Each site was equipped with reusable, eco-minded promotional merchandise that is both functional for their deliveries and carry a co-branded message from them and each of their community partners.

• Re-usable, USA made* drinkware were given to volunteers and sturdy bags made of 50% recycled & biodegradable materials were supplied for transporting goods. Pens with large, long-lasting refills and barrels made of 100% recycled PET/reclaimed wheat straw were also supplied for use on site and for promotion.

The Aware Women’s Health Foundation’s 25th Annual Convention was a milestone to be celebrated. To commemorate the event, the organizers put together a swag bag that attendees would receive when they checked into the hotel for the convention. Their goal was to have a combination of products attendees could use during the convention as well as a few they could use long after the convention had ended.

• The Aware Foundation focuses on wellness as a key part of their brand initiatives and hydration is no exception.

• Safety is another important part of Aware’s brand initiatives. The Chroma Keyring Flashlight is a useful item that can be kept on a keychain, a purse or anywhere in between.

• The conference was filled with motivational speakers, workshops and educational activities where notetaking is always a priority. Products were adorned with motivational reminders about what their organization stands for.
