The WFT PRO SALT is the series of heavy-duty spinning reels for any type of heavy fresh- and salt water fishing. Every components of the reels have been newly constructed with an uncompromising view to the heaviest workloads. Body, rotor. spool and crank handle are made from MARINEGRADE alloy that is used in shipbuilding and industrial boilers because of its strength and salt water resistance.
The Line Roller is made from brass, double hard-chrome coated and equiped with a teflon bearing that is maintenance-free for its life-time.
The Aluminium Spool is precision machined 100 percent tension-free from solid bar stock, golden anodized and equiped with a rubber ring on the arbor that prevents any type of fishing line from slipping.
The Drag Waterproof sealed power-drag with carbon, teflon and stainless steel drag discs. An watertight aluminium seal with an additional O-ring prevents the penetration of water and dust into the drag system. A double-sided sealed stainless steel ball bearing on either side, in the back and front of the drag system, centers the spool exactly on the main shaft with a tolerance of only a fiftieth of a millimeter, and holds it there safely even during the toughest fight. The drag is fine-adjustable, works absolutely smooth at any setting and generates a dragresistance of up tto 18kg. The large and easy-to-operate drag knob is equiped with an almost indestructible magnetic click (there is no spring).

The aluminium side plate is additionally secured with safetypins for torsional rigidity even under the hardest mechanical loads. Despite its tough design the WFT PRO SALT is not too heavy and its precision gear with aluminium, stainless steel and bonze components offers a comfortable retrieve that is unique in reels of this performance category.
