This small popper is an updated version of the CHUBBY. Simply fantastic when predators are chasing prey of the same size as the lure (larvae, amphibians or fry). Compact and well proportioned, the lure casts like a dream thanks to its internal weight. The Chubby popper has a walking the dog type action and will splash and pop with ease imitating frightened prey. Any popper worth its salt needs to sit well when stopped. To recreate the look of the tail of a prey fish or an insect's wings, the lure is fitted with a feather hook- sure to fool the wariest of chub or black bass.
