Masterpiece Snake Skin…the best ever of Michael Zammataro’s rods with Snakeskin technology Michael Zammataro has developed an entirely new rod concept in the new Masterpiece Snake Skin series. The own weight of the rods is considerably less than the previous models and the actions are significantly more finely tuned. The incredible filigree actions make the Ultra Light, Light Feeder and Method Feeder models highly attractive. In the case of the models in the previous series the legendary stability of the rods was achieved by way of the excessively long mortise and tenon joints, and that increases the dead weight. Thanks to the sensational Snake Skin blank construction it is possible to achieve the same stability at a significantly lower weight! The Snake Skin blank technology functions like this: The blank is manufactured from highly-compressed Japanese IM-12 carbon fibre, guaranteeing very lightweight rods and perfect actions.

The blanks are hardly sanded at all to retain maximum strength. It is noticeable from the slightly rough surface. Thereafter the blanks are fused with our innovative Snake Skin sheathing. ultra light feeder 30 The Ultra-Light Feeder 30 is the finest and most sensitive rod in our new series. The two-part ultra-sensitive rod guarantees 100 per cent bite indication all the way through into the handle. The very thin plugin tips with an insertion depth of 2.2 mm work as a unit together with the upper section of the rod and they do not even offer very small fish any resistance whatsoever when taking the bait. The Ultra-Light 30 is used for fishing for small roach and bleaks etc. and also guarantees to help you land capital bream on the very finest leaders.
