南无佛！各位委员、各位法师、各位居士：大家吉祥！ 僧人是三宝之一，是佛陀现世精神的具体代表，它是三宝中唯一代代相传。寺庙是庄严国土，利乐有情，净化 人心，弘法利生的重要场所，也是千百年佛教文化凝聚的实体表现。回眸2019年我寺僧众在各位委员及广大 护法善信的鼎力支持下，弘法工作和社会企业取得很大的发展。仅此，我代表护国金塔寺常住衷心感谢大家！ 《六祖坛经》中有一首惠能大师所说的偈：【佛法在世间，不离世间觉；离世觅菩提，恰如求兔角。 】字面 上的意思是说：佛法是在世间，得不离世间，才能得到佛法的觉悟；如果离开了世间，而想要觅得佛法三乘菩 提的觉悟，就如同想要去找到一只头上长着角的兔子一样，是无有是处。古印度梵文的菩提，就是汉文的「 觉」，因为觉悟了诸法的真实性。 社会则是道场；生活则是修行。在我闭关完满三载而言，现在是我人生标志着进入一个新阶段，站在一个新的 起点。哲人有句话是我座右铭：「创造机会的人是勇者。等待机会的人是愚者。能说不能行，不是真智慧。」 我一直在学习如何贯彻社会企业和佛教传播的推动源。我认为学习和贯彻两者是紧密不可分的一整体，它们是 我寺领导僧侣和信徒爱国爱教的一个具体表现，也是加强僧侣信众与国家政策紧密联系的一个重要途径。 遗教经中有句话说：「制心一处，无事不办。」这句话对现代人而言是特别用得上。译意就是要你专心、专 一，只要心专一，把杂念放下，智慧自然就会成长，心浮气躁成不了大事。 学习需要有计划。下定决心才是成功的关键。信心就是动力、毅力就是坚持、勇气就是承担；三者俱备，则天 下没有做不成的事。人生要给自己定目标；有了目标就坚持完成任务。这才是人在社会上正真价值。 展望未来，我寺积极推进僧侣和信徒勤行精进「慈悲喜舍」的精神，共同发心架起大爱的桥梁，建设温柔敦厚 美好的社会。 再一次感谢大家的支持！祝愿各位委员、各位法师、各位居士：福乐安康，诸事吉祥！ 愿得三宝的加持。

Namo Buddha! Blessings to all members, sangha and devotees! Sangha is one of the Triple Gems, it is the representation of Buddha’s Spirit in today’s world. It is the only Triple Gem that is handed down from generation to generation. The temple is an important place that signifies Pure Land and propagates Buddhism to benefit and purifies people’s hearts. It is also the physical manifestation of rich Buddhist cultural heritage. In 2019, with the support of the sangha in our monastery, the committee members and dedicated devotees, we have achieved a great success in our dharma propagation and charity works. On behalf of the Golden Pagoda Buddhist Temple, I would to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone. Thank you! There is a gatha by Zen Master Hui Neng in the Sutra of the Sixth Zen Patriarch: “You can never find the Truth of Bodhi out of this mortal world.” It means that Buddha’s Teachings is relevant and applicable to our everyday life, do not search elsewhere for Enlightenment. The word ‘Bodhi’ in ancient Sanskrit is similar to the Chinese word “jue” (觉), means ‘to realize the Truth of Dharma’. Society is an ashram and life is a learning journey. After three years of meditation retreat, this is the beginning of a new phase of my life - my new starting point. There is a saying that is my motto: ‘Those who create opportunities are brave; those who wait for opportunities are fools. Talk without action is not true wisdom!’. I have been learning how to implement the strength in of social enterprises to drive the propagation of Buddhism. In my opinion, learning and implementation are inseparable factors to success. These are the qualities that should be instilled by the leading sangha and devotees of our temple. They are also the important strengthening factors, closely knitting between the sangha and devotees to the national policies. Here is a saying in the Legacy Scripture:“There is nothing unachievable, if you focus hard enough”. This quote is practically useful for people in the modern world. Focus on your objective without any distractions, the wisdom will naturally grow and accomplishment will be within your reach. There cannot be any significant achievement with a flickering and impetuous Mind. Learning needs planning. Determination is the key to success. Confidence is a motivational factor. Perseverance is to persist, and courage is the commitment. With these three qualities, nothing is impossible. Set your goals and stick to it. This is the true value of a man in this society. Looking forward to the future, we will actively promote the spirit of ‘compassion, happiness and sharing’ among our sangha and devotees. Together, we aim to build the bridge of love, reaching out to share our vision of a sincere and beautiful society. Thank you once again for your relentless support!
