NIGHT COVER IMAGE BY LOTTE ELISE HANSEN
Dear Readers Stare into the night sky and think about how tiny you are compared to the stars you see above you. Count how many you see and think about how we’re not alone in this universe. Listen to the bumps in the night and think about the afterlife. Live life on the edge.

knockout night tips
tip #1 USE A TRIPOD!! Unless you’re trying to get a really trippy effect where everything is blurred and in motion! A tripod will hold your camera steady for those long shutter speed captures! My Manfrotto is my best friend!!
tip #2 USE A REMOTE!! Those two seconds that you spend clicking the shutter on your camera with your finger can really shake things up!!! If you use a remote, even if you’re not going to be included in the photo, then you remove any chance of physically moving the camera!
tip #3 USE A HIGHER ISO!! Keep in mind that when you raise your ISO it opens the light up a bit more so you don’t have to use such a low shutter speed, but you should also know that when you raise your ISO you are also increading the risk for noise in your photographs so do a bit of testing to see which higher ISO looks and works best!

glitter in the air
Model: Vivien Aline Reimers Assistant: Jana Marie Benkartek
Have you ever fed a lover with just your hands? Closed your eyes and trusted, just trusted? Have you ever thrown a fist full of glitter in the air? Have you ever looked fear in the face and said “I just don’t care”? It’s only half past the point of no return. The tip of the iceberg. The thunder before the lightning. The breath before the phrase. Have you ever felt this way? Have you ever hated yourself for staing at t he phone? Your whole life waiting on the ring to prove you’re not alone. Have you ever been touched so gently you had to cry? Have you ever invited a stranger to come inside?
