Destination • Travel to Peru’s Sacred Valley and experience the blend of ancient Inca and modern Peruvian society. Settle into our host village, a Quechua community in the heart of the Andean cordillera. Cap off your program with a journey by train to Machu Picchu and a weekend in Cusco.

Projects • Immerse yourself in the daily life of a Quechua community as you work alongside local friends and skilled craftsmen on a variety of community-initiated projects. Construct housing, paint murals, join in the potato harvest, learn how to weave traditional fabrics, or teach English to local primary students.

Activities • Hike through Inca ruins at Pisac, Moray, and Ollantaytambo. Get hands-on experience in the art of weaving at a women’s cooperative in Chinchero. Journey by train to Machu Picchu to explore this ancient wonder of the world. Spend a weekend in the imperial city of Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire.
