From Snowcapped Peaks to the Mediterranean

Destination • Travel to a fishing village on Spain’s verdant northern coast, then head south to the stunning Picos de Europa mountains. Visit iconic Madrid and take day trips to explore history and culture in Segovia or Toledo. Spend a week paired with a Spanish peer and put your language skills to work. End in a small coastal town on the Mediterranean.

Language Learning • Take a language pledge to speak in Spanish and participate in field-based lessons that are dynamic, fun, and designed to empower you to speak and live like a local. Hone your skills in markets, shops, and cafés. Spend a week paired with a local teenager and practice your Spanish with your host family.

Activities • Take a surf lesson and play soccer on the beach on Spain’s northern coast. Wander Madrid’s lively streets and world famous museums. Visit Segovia’s aqueduct or Toledo’s ancient synagogue. Savor tapas, watch a flamenco performance, and relax on the gorgeous Mediterranean coast.
