SATURDAY, AUGUST 27 10:00 am-10:00 pm SUNDAY, AUGUST 28 10:00 am-5:00 pm AT SHILOH PARK Public Welcome Dance • Eat • Listen • Learn Rain or Shine Native Entertainment Flute Player: William Buchholtz Grand Entry Flags and Dancers are presented and announced as they enter the dance arena Saturday - 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm Sunday - 1:00 pm Admission Adults $5 Elders 65 yrs or Older FREE Children 6 to 12 yrs $1 Children under 6yrs FREE Special Two Day Admission Adults $8 Children 6-12 yrs $2 Storytelling and native exhibit porcupine quill work demos, raffles, and vendors selling craft & art auctions throughout the day Veteran’s Talking Circle – Sunday 10:00 am The Potawatomi Trails Pow Wow, the only event of its kind in this area, is a celebration of Native-American heritage. Its purpose is not only to celebrate this heritage, but also to heighten public awareness of Native-American history, traditions and customs. Specific activities will include demonstrations, music and dance presentations, educational sessions and a trader area.
