Adult Recreation DOG OBEDIENCE

Basic dog obedience training with lots of praise; results in a good working, happy and reliable dog. You’ll teach your dog basic commands; heel, sit, stay, down and come. Dogs should be 8 weeks to 6 months for the puppy class and 7 months and older for beginner class. Do not bring your dog to the first class. Please bring a copy of your dog’s shot record. Class

DOG AGILITY – OPEN COURSE Dog agility is a great way to keep your pet happy, healthy and smart. This open course is great for all levels. It’s a fun, creative way to add weekly exercise into your routine and improve fitness for you and your dog. The supervisor will contact you to schedule your 30 minute session on the agility course. This time is NOT class or instructor-lead. Open course provides an opportunity for you to work on skill or to spend time interacting with your pet on your own. Note: All open course sessions must be completed by 8/31/ 2022. You may sign-up for as many sessions as you like. Location: Jordan Park Garage Fees: $10/ 30 min.

CPR & FIRST-AID TRAINING

Be prepared for any emergency. This class will cover CPR, proper AED usage and basic first-aid for emergencies. Students will review the book material on-line before the class and then attend the class to review and complete the hands-on skills with a certified instructor. Students will be emailed the book instruction upon registering for the class. A certification card will be issued by Jeff Ellis and will be valid for two years. Dates

OIL PAINTING This is an adult class for beginning or advanced. You will create a painting from a picture or photo of a landscape or still life working with oils and/or acrylics. SPANISH FOR ADULTS – VIRTUAL Learn Spanish from the safety and comfort of your own home via the interactive Zoom platform. You will learn conversational Spanish that you can immediately begin using.
