To contribute ensuring community’s health, in 2021 GNI continued to carry out many activities such as improving facilities and providing equipment support for medical stations; nutritional support for children; comprehensive gender education training; increasing access to clean water for people through drilling wells and supporting water supply systems in 3 villages of Vinh An commune, supporting for establishment and operation of Vikawa clean water production Cooperative. In particular, the environment protection education program started by GNI has gained enthusiastic participation of students.
The Cooperative was established and operated by GNI since August 2021 to increase people’s opportunities to access and use safe drinking water through the construction of water
196 malnourished children were supported 3,601 children got health check 05 medical stations were repaired and supported with equipment 95 household toilets and 01 public toilet were built 03 drilled wells and 07 water systems supported for the community 01 drilled well and 04 water purifiers supported for the school 1,745 students participated in the Education program on environment protection 640 students and 43 teachers participated in Comprehensive sex education Training
purification works in villages. The main product of
the cooperative is purified drinking water bottled
in 19L, 500ml and 350ml bottles which are qualified for standard QC06/BYT applied for drinking water. This is an activity sponsored by Korea Institute of Ceramic Technology and Engineering.
