When we got to Kings Dominion, it was a yearning to go on The Intimidator 305. But first, we went on the Avalanche. Then we went on the fascinating VOLCANO. When we got off, me my brother, and my mom, went to get to get a beverage and some pizza. Finally, it was time to go on the Intimidator 305!! I honestly thought that I would get terminated!! We sat up in the front of the ride. Then we went up the hill. I said," I can see the horizon!” Then it DROPPED!!!!!!!!! When we got off, I said to my brother, “I told you I didn’t black out!!!” Then we went to the candy store. I bought FOUR POUNDS OF JELLYBEANS!!!!!!!!!!!

Life is everywhere. Flowers and plants all around. Spring is upon us. Smith Hopper
When I was 8, I played flag football. I was put on a team called the Patriots. In the first half of my first game I had 3 INT,2FF,3 SACKS and 8 receptions for 126 yards and 2 TD. In the second half I was playing as a punt returner and I had 6 returns for 146 yards. We won 32-25. In the second game we played the Titans and won 49-47. We are 2-0 and have 3 more games until the playoffs. We won our next 3 games to advance with an undefeated record. We beat everyone so we made it to Super Bowl XXVIII and pulled it off 79-75. At the ceremony I won Rookie of the year.

Sanibel Fishing
by Seth Wilbanks We were staying at a place called the Pelicans Roost on Sanibel Island in Florida. We were on our 5th day of vacation. We had a fishing guide that had black hair and brown eyes. He was tall. He was an expert on fishing and he spends a lot of time on the water. He had a boat the size of a table. He was going to spend 3 nights on that small boat. Our fishing guide was going to catch the bait so we could catch some fish. Then my dad asked if we could go with him. He said YES! We caught a puffer fish. It was the size of my fist and it was white with black polka dots. It blew up when we brought the net into the boat. We also caught a pipefish. It buries itself in the sand and floats with the current. It was a hexagonal prism. So we started fishing. Here are the kind of fish we caught:

When they died I would bury them hoping they would grow back to life. But sadly it didn’t work . I decided to give up at age 5 (I know, I did it for 3 years.) A week before my 9th birthday I did it again and it worked! I could not believe it! That was a surprising day for me!
Hi my name is Aidan Stakem and I live in Woodberry. It is a high school for boys and my brother is going there. I have 2 dogs 1 cat which my dad does not like and 1 goldfish. I love going swimming. One ordinary day I started to swim some laps and I swam 60 laps and I got out of the pool and my mom told me I swam a mile. This was the day before my 9th bday.
I’m running, chasing after the ball. I trip and fall. My fingers are out of place. My kneecap is facing down. I lay there crying because I am in pain. The ref blows the whistle and everybody takes a knee. My Mom and Dad run right over. I feel really uncomfortable and then I pass out. Before I know it, I am in the emergency room. I couldn’t move my knee and fingers. I feel exhausted. I fell asleep and I am having a dream. It is not a dream. It is a nightmare. I try to move my knee back into place but it falls off. I try to move my fingers into place and they fall off too. I try to scream and nothing comes out. I try to wake up but the nightmare gets worse. I try to wake up but my eyelids won’t move. I finally wake up and the nurse is with me. She shakes my shoulder to wake me up. Two months later, all my bones have healed. I was really happy that I could move now. Guess what? I am in a championship and I scored the winning goal.

She lives underground in her secret lab. Nobody knows how to get down there. One day a horrible bad guy found the way in and got captured in the tree elevator. He was trying to steal a secret ingredient to make a special pie. Super Squirrel was a hero because she caught the robber that everyone was trying to catch. Super Squirrel was famous from that day on because she caught the terrible guy. She lives somewhere else now. She lives in the spooky woods in a ginger bread house made of sweet candy and lives with her awesome companion Bat Squirrel. Also known as the one, the only very superhero Batman!

Once upon a time there was a monkey named Dr. Cucumber and he loved bananas. One day all the bananas were gone. All the monkeys started freaking out especially Dr. Cucumber. The grand high monkey (Bob) came and got everyone to calm down. He said “I need 5 volunteers to go on a journey to find all the bananas.” He picked Dr. Cucumber, Fred, Charley, Carly, and Samantha to go on the adventure. So they were off. After a long hike, the monkeys came to an extinct volcano in the middle of nowhere. The monkeys went into the volcano to discover an underground lab, where they meet an old friend, Mr. Lincon. Mr. Lincon was the old grand high monkey of monkey town. He was back for revenge. Some time after talking rudely they were down to fighting! Finally they defeated Mr. Lincon. And they set off with all the bananas. When they got home everyone was so happy. Dr. Cucumber, Fred, Charley, Carly, and Samantha were all awarded with metals. And everyone lived happily ever after. THE END! P.S. Mr. Lincon said “I will be back and I will regain my power over monkey town.”

Jane I am I’m sitting in the breeze. the sun is shining on my smooth face the Jungle grass is waving at my feet as if they were calling , “hello my sweet girl .” I feel stupid talking to the grass but I just say , “ um…hi”. My mother Vane calls me , ” Jane! come to eat your yummy supper, or it will get cold.” I say ,”okay, coming!”. I come to our camping tent in the middle of the jungle. I cross my fingers, look into the bowl and.. no luck! “ aww, mom!” we’re eating mashed potatoes and cup-o-noodles. We have been eating that for the past two weeks that we have been here. I eat solemnly and then Vane, my happy cup-o-noodles eating mom goes in the forest for an hour with a black toy monkey made by herself. My eyes go wide, my hands start to tremble and I reach for it and I see its shining eyes. I am numb. I have found my passion in three…two…one….
15 years later I am on a high rock. I have binoculars pressed to my skin. I am looking at monkeys in the treetops. They are swinging from branch to vine and hanging backwards with their tails and… eating dates. Not dates like a date but a date. Uuugghh.. That doesn’t make sense. Lets just say that a date is a fruit they eat .I mean we eat it too but.. Oh whatever! I forgot to tell you that my mother and me got malaria. I tell you, its not fun. Its horrible I mean very horrible. We slept weakly for two days! Anyway one day the monkeys were not afraid of me anymore. I could touch them. I pinched myself just to make sure it was real. I took many pictures of them and that was my life and my dream that came true to me and everyone. And you know that girl who is obsessed with monkeys. Well that was me ………..JANE GOODALL!

On my Spring break I went to my local beach and I saw a pack of wild dolphins out on the reef and so , I decided to call them in. my mom thought that it was just a game because you know how moms are, so my mom played along. Half an hour later my mom got out of the water and as soon as she got out a huge shadow swimming about 60 miles per hour came bolting at me! I realized it was the lead dolphin. That is the first wild dolphin I had ever seen! I was a little freaked out because my mom told me “Get out of the water!� So I thought it was a shark. But in two min and 58 sec I swam with my first wild dolphin!

The Time I Went to the Fair With Thomas by Landon One day Thomas invited me to go to the Amisville parade and fair. On the way we stopped at a playground. The fair was across the street from Thomas's grandparents house and winery. We went in the winery. Thomas and I played foosball in the winery. We used pogo sticks and Thomas showed me his grandpas cork creations. He had a nutcracker it was awesome! Then we watched the parade for a little bit. After that we went to the fair. We rode the mechanical swings. After that Thomas convinced me to ride a very intimidating ride it spins around really fast. Then we rode the scrambler and a few other rides. Then we ate burgers and fries. They were tasty after we did the dime toss. I got 2 glasses Thomas didn’t get anything. After we did the dunking booth. Neither of us hit it but we were close. We also won a kickball from the basketball game. On the way back to Thomas's house we ate funnel cake and watched open season 2. When we got back we went to sleep. In the morning we played soccer and some lacrosse. After we ate breakfast and I went back to my house.
The Battle Of Geonosis by Ethan Mallon Hello, My name is CC-1124 or Wrecker. I’m the trooper in charge of this platoon of wolf-pack troopers. This was my first mission: To Destroy The Geonosian Droid Factory! But as soon as I got out of my platoon’s gunship, it was destroyed! The “Sepies” had launched a Hailfire droid! I had to jump on that clanker and blast it’s fuel cells and jump off while it exploded! But after that droid there were many more droids but at least it was battle droids. It almost seemed as for every droid that was destroyed; another took it’s place. Finally, all those ”clankers” were scrap metal, and we only lost 2 men. This fight was over but now the real one begins… We were in the factory and we were making our way to the power core. Once we got there, we set the charges and hightailed it outta’ there but there was one problem, commando’s, so we threw some charges and blew ‘em up. Now we were gettn’ outta’ the factory as I detonated the charges and the place blew up, the battle had been won!
Lego’s • Lego’s are the building blocks of anything you could ever want. • They smell like and ivory piece of freshly cut granite. • They taste like a tasteless hard candy. • They sound like the clicks and clacks of a keyboard. • They feel like a small sharp stone with sticks protruding out of it. • They look like small bricks with even smaller columns poking out of it to interlock with another brick.
My soccer Championship My soccer team was invited to a north Carolina soccer tournament. Even though I am the youngest on the team, I knew it was big for the team. Later on, our team the Culpeper Comets played our first game. I had an assist and a goal that game and we went on to win 3-1. The next game, my coach surprised me and started me on defense. It was hard at first, but I got the hang of it. Late in the game I was on a fast brake and it was tied one to one. I barely chipped it over the goalie and our striker Edu and he scored. It was close but we won. We made it to the finals . Luckily I started on center Midfield again. The game was two one us and they scored and it went into penalties. We scored twice and they scored zero times. I was shooting to win and I struck it lower left corner to win and the crowd roared as we had won the championship.

The four men in combat by Robbie The four men are gazing into the misty dark clouds wondering when the battle will end. One of the men, the king, is sitting down on his throne as his castle collapsing and smoke seemed to surround him. Across the sea in which three men are fighting furiously, and blood gushing out of his stomach as a man had knocked him off of his horse, the horse dying. All of the men rapidly fighting through injuries and throughout war. The color violet red the color of the sea, represents blood in which they are bleeding.
The Snake & the Chipmunk
By Alexandra Kondakov In the time before time, there lived a white snake. He loved to brag about his scales. He wanted to be the most important animal of all. The only way he did not want to be important was to have something that rattled on his body. Everybody knew it. Chipmunk wanted to put an end to it. One day it got really cold, everybody was starving (especially Snake). So Chipmunk wrapped some leftover mouse meat around a rattle toy, and waited till Snake showed up. As soon as Snake showed up, Chipmunk said, “Here Snake, I have some food for you.” As soon as Chipmunk said “for you” Snake gobbled up the mouse (without chewing). When Snake was done he slowly started to slither away, that’s when he heard the rattle (the rattle toy was stuck). Snake got soooo mad he turned red. Chipmunk picked up Snake and threw him in the water. Snake cooled off quickly and turned brown. (He never knew he could swim!) He swam to shore and got out of the water. Chipmunk started to run, but snake was a fast one, he caught up to Chipmunk and right when Chipmunk leaped for his hole Snake’s fangs cut into Chipmunk’s skin. Chipmunk stayed in his hole for the rest of the winter so the wounds would heel. When he came out of his hole in the spring he had white stripes down his back. That is why and how: 1. The rattle has a rattling tail. 2. Rattle snakes are brown. 3. Chipmunks hibernate. 4. Chipmunks have white stripes.
