Plant Yourself and Enjoy

Fine-dining destination features vegan Italian-Mediterranean cuisine

For one of the finest vegan meals in Las Vegas, head to Crossroads Kitchen at Resorts World Las Vegas, where you’ll find a variety of inventive dishes.

The local outpost of the popular L.A. restaurants, Crossroads Kitchen opened to acclaim in 2022, bringing plant-based favorites, fully vegan cocktails and Las Vegas exclusives. A cocktail is highly recommended, and the Holy Smoke mixes Casamigos tequila, sweet vermouth and Aperol in an inventive offering. The Espresso Marti-No is a mocktail that’s very delicious—it’s created with Lyre’s coffee nonalcoholic spirit, Lyre’s white cane syrup, espresso and vanilla simple syrup. There’s a substantial wine list, with options for full bottles or by the glass.

One of Crossroads’ most inventive dishes is the calamari fritti, crispy, crunchy, slightly chewy rings that channel a seafood experience. Other appetizers include chestnut foie gras, a spreadable pate served with sourdough, Impossible cigars served with a spicy almond milk yogurt, and baked mushroom scallops. One of the most intriguing things about Crossroads is how closely the product on the table resembles a meat item, most often in texture and looks, although often in aspects of taste. A great example of this is the eggplant short rib, a dead ringer for its meat-based counterpart.

As befits a good Italian restaurant, you’ll find plenty of pastas and pizza, from tagliatelle Bolognese and campanelle with Italian sausage to a classic sausage, pepper and onion pie served piping hot from the oven. With two tasting menus, Crossroads diners can experience either five or seven courses, with wine pairings also available (full table participation required).

Weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday adds breakfast staples like chicken and waffles, pancakes and a bagel tower with cream cheese, caviar, whitefish and lox, channeling those classic accompaniments with plant-based alternatives. Pair that with a mimosa or Bloody Mary, and your day will have started right. And deliciously healthy. –Nina King
