Adopt a dog from Animal Control

Gloucester County Animal Control is happy to announce that as of last year, the dogs at the facility are available for adoption Through the hard work of department staff, devoted volunteers, and the newly founded nonprofit organization, Friends of Gloucester County Animal Control, more than 100 dogs have been adopted out to new owners and families!

The shelter is located right next to the Animal Control Office at 6584 Beehive Drive New dogs come into the shelter weekly, and there are so many amazing pups in need of loving homes

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please consider looking at our current furry residents on Petfinder com or check out the Friends of Gloucester County Animal Control’s Facebook page for updated photos and information The facility is not currently doing walk-ins Adoption applications must first be filled out and approved before a meet and greet is scheduled

Any questions about the adoption process can be answered by calling the Animal Control office at 804-693-5290. If you aren’t looking to adopt at the moment, please also consider donating canned dog food, toys or treats to the Friends of Gloucester County Animal Control.

All donations go directly to support the care and comfort of the dogs at our shelter
