Gloucester Wine Festival expands

The 12th Annual Gloucester Wine Festival is now a two-day event scheduled for Saturday, Sept 23 and Sunday, Sept 24

The festival is nestled among eight acres of beautiful gardens at Brent & Becky’s Bulbs There is a permanent stage for concerts where every seat is a good seat

The Deloreans, an all '80s band from Hampton Roads, will perform on Saturday Sunday’s festival will feature Good Shot Judy, a high octane swing band

This year will showcase 14 Virginia Wineries as well as craft beers from several local breweries. Vendors of every category from fine arts to crafts, and nonprofits to historical locations, will be in attendance.

Of course, there’s nothing more important with wine than the pairing with good food Our food vendors feature locally caught fish, oysters, and crabs, paired with local produce, much of it organic There will be large covered tents with tables and chairs for comfortable shaded dining

Saturday’s event will be open from 11 a m to 5 p m Sunday's event runs from noon to 5 p m There is limited parking, but the festival will run shuttle buses in and out from nearby Ware Academy throughout the day
