50th anniversary GARNER — Gary and Carmin (Burnquist) Thorson were married Nov. 30, 1963, at Kanawha, Iowa. They celebrated early with a family dinner. 55th Wedding Anniversary Melvin and Beverly (Noble) Lambert were married Nov. 28, 1958. The couple’s children are Michael and Julie Lambert of Mason City, Iowa, William and Terry Paulus of Garner, Iowa, Alan Lambert of Mason City, Iowa, and Neal and Vicky Lambert of Nora Springs, Iowa, along with 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In celebration, a dance will be held at the VFW in Osage from 7-11 p.m. Nov. 30, 2013.
