ISU Theatre students AMES — Iowa State University Theatre students and faculty joined nearly 1,400 students and faculty from colleges and universities in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, for the 44th annual Region V Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. The festival was held Jan 15-21, in Ames. This was the second year in a row ISU Theatre hosted the event. Mark Klooster, of Mason City, a junior in performing arts at ISU, was among the top 64 actors to advance to the semi-finals of the Irene Ryan Scholarship acting auditions.
