Mona started her career as a waitress on Aug. 8, 1980 through 1991 at the Sheraton Inn. It was a perfect fit, since she admits she’s a people person. Neither rainstorms, sleet, nor blizzards kept her from going to work. She had not been late once during all those years, until recently when her alarm failed to awaken her. She is currently working at the Holiday Inn which will become the Clarion Inn on Aug. 15. She would like to thank all of her former customers and friends she met over the years. She will continue working banquets and hopefully maintain contact with her old friends and customers.
