CHARLES CITY — Jenell Wirth and Adam Hughes were married Oct. 10, 2009, by Monsignor Stanley Hayek at Immaculate Conception Church, Charles City. Jenell is the daughter of Deb Wirth, of Clear Lake, and Adam is the son of Paul and Juanita Hughes, of Charles City. Maid of honor was Jolene Piper. The bride’s other attendants were Jessa Wirth, Kris Gardner, and Kim Grant. Best man was Kyle Kelly. The groom’s other attendants were John Clark, Kevin Bugg, Tim Wirth, Mike Wirth and Jason Wirth. Kayley Gardner served as flower girl. Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the Hanford Inn, Mason City. Jenell is employed with Marsh Insurance, West Des Moines and Adam is employed with Iowa Beverage Systems in Des Moines. The couple resides in West Des Moines.

FAIRMONT, Minn. — Sarah Schwieger and Jason Wirth were married June 20, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont, Minn. Sarah is the daughter of Dorie Schwieger, of Fairmont, Minn., and Jason is the son of Deb Wirth, of Clear Lake. Maid of honor was Kelsey Murphy. The bride’s other attendants were Molly Schwieger, Jenell Wirth and Lisa Osheim. Best man was Mike Wirth. The groom’s other attendants were Tim Wirth, Bob Keil and Jonathon Stohr. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Red Rock Center in Fairmont, Minn. Jason is self employed in farming, rural Thompson. The couple resides in Thompson.

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — Alison DeFrance and Ryan Rader were united in marriage on Dec. 29, 2009 at Barefoot Beach, Bonita Springs, Fla. Alison is the daughter of Steve and Joyce DeFrance, of Mason City. Ryan is the son of Tom Rader and Diana Cumpton, of Newton. Matron of honor was Stephanie DeFrance Schmidt. Alison’s other attendants were Annika Rader, Krystal Berding and Dara Dannen Taylor. Best man was Brett Wacha. Ryan’s other attendant was Brendan Rader. Alison is a graduate of Mason City High School, the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and Roosevelt University, Chicago, with a master of arts degree in clinical counseling. She is employed by Four Oaks. Ryan graduated from Newton High School, Central College with a bachelor of arts degree in history, Western Theological Seminary with a master of divinity degree, and the University of Iowa with a master of arts degree in school counseling. He is employed by Benton Community Schools. Following a honeymoon trip to Lido Key, Fla., the couple resides in Cedar Rapids.
