Fanalyze

Founded by Juan Juan A longtime fan of fantasy football, engineer Juan Juan wanted to provide a one-stop app where fantasy football team managers could aggregate and compare all the player stats they needed while planning out their rosters. Drafting the team was fun, and so was winning. Although doing research and compiling numbers ahead of time typically led to winning, Juan found it was much too time consuming. As luck would have it, a fellow fantasy football friend also happened to be an engineer, so the two co-founders set out to build a faster way to get to the excitement. With growing legislation allowing for more sports betting across the United States, the two budding entrepreneurs recognized the impending surge in the market and considered those measured risk-takers. They quickly started to include team data for those diving into the betting side. They’ve since been able to secure a marketing partnership with major sports betting operator DraftKings and are finalizing licenses to launch in Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, Tennessee, Michigan and Arizona. “We want to be the platform to get sports data quickly through search,” said Juan. “We want to be the Google of sports data.” As each major sports league has resumed play, the Fanalyze team is on the ready to upload more and more data as players either make or break their fantasy team owners. They’re not only focusing on U.S.-based sports but also would like to expand globally, starting with a look into cricket. The initial value for a Fanalyze user is being better positioned to win at sports betting. But as Juan thoughtfully points out, the intangible benefit is for users to win back more time to enjoy friends, family and the game itself. Images courtesy of Juan Juan
