What is ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System can be applied to any type of product and service and it is designed to help organizations increase market share and improve efficiency by ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. This QMS guides organizations to define a quality policy and to design a system for continual improvement of the business processes. ISO 9001 certification requirements include:

– defining the context of the organization and identification of interested parties – identify the risks related to the organizational processes and issues and interested parties identified – defining a policy and objectives of the quality management system – defining, streamlining and documenting of all core processes – communicating the policy and objectives of the QMS throughout the organization – measuring the quality of the product quality and management system – implementing a corrective action and auditing procedures to insure continual improvement

Planning • Organizational Chart, Assign Responsibilities & Project Plan • Outlining scope of business and interaction of processes (through Context of the Organization process) • Chose a certification body (CB) to audit documented QMS and achieve ISO9001:2015 Registration • Draft processes and procedures Quality Objectives and Targets • Management sets objectives based on the quality policy, risks and identified key processes to achieve customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, control of external providers & minimize risks • Each objective must be measurable, thus, targets are set for each objective WWW.GLENVIEWGROUP.COM


• Programs are implemented that will assist the organization achieve set objectives and targets Checking & Management Review • As ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), newly implemented quality management system will need to be audited both internally and by a certification body (CB) • Management is responsible for conducting QMS reviews we recommend to do this at the beginning to set the objectives and the then again after the full system internal audit as the standard requires
