Katrina Yerbury AW’95: I thought that nearly 20 years after leaving school, it was about time I wrote in, says Katrina. I have been working as a Biology teacher for the last 14 years, but 3 years ago I decided I needed a new challenge and took up triathlon. After my first few, a friend suggested I try and qualify for the World Championships which I did and represented GB in Auckland, New Zealand where I came 15th in the triathlon (swim-bike-run) and 11th in the aquathon (swim-run). In Pontevedra, Spain on 1 June this year I came 13th in the World Duathlon Championships (run-bike-run). My sister Julia Yerbury (Donovan) AW’98 is doing really well in ultra-running and took part in the Marathon des Sables. (6 marathons in 7 days across the desert carrying all your own kit; please see page 47.) Alice Bullock (Kiddie) E’95 is still living in Southfields, south London and now has two boys, Samuel and Thomas who was born in November 2013.
Fi Greene E’92 writes: “Maximilian Argyll Nordstrom Greene was born on 6 October 2013 in San Francisco, California. My first child, and probably last! Very happy – wish I had started having kids in my twenties. It is a joy!”
