Kidney dialysis patients to benefit
The Landsborough Masonic Lodge recently became aware that the Dialysis Training Unit at the Nambour Hospital was in need of a computer tablet device to assist their training program for dialysis patients wishing to set up their own home based treatment facility. The purpose of the tablet is to give the patient an in depth reference base for understanding how to use their equipment and how to monitor and correct any problems that might develop. The Lodge realised that this would be of significant benefit to the patients and sought assistance from the Hand Heart Pocket Charity arm of Freemasons Queensland. They also saw the benefit to the community and agreed to assist in financing two tablets and recently members of the Landsborough Masonic Lodge presented them to the staff of the Renal Unit at the Nambour Hospital.

It’s so easy to grow your business with GC&M News! I have been advertising in the Glasshouse Country & Maleny News for nearly five years now. What I love about the paper is the ease of advertising; changes can be made without a hassle. Businesses have such little time, but it's never a problem for the girls to whip up an ad. What attracted me to the paper was the very friendly, approachable staff. It’s a small local business too, which means you are dealing directly with them. They also keep you up to date on any up and
coming advertising events etc. that your business may be interested in. I find it very cost effective as well. I have advertised elsewhere but have never had the same response rate. I feel without the Glasshouse Country & Maleny News my business would have not grown as quickly as it has. I also love to sit down with a coffee (when I get the chance ) and have a read myself.
