Fathers and sons forum

A dedicated forum on father and son relationships will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at the Glass House Mountains RSL Hall as part of Men’s Health Week from June 10-16.

Fathers and sons of any age and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

The forum will include a talk by guest speaker David Larkin, who will talk on ‘A father's point of view’, followed by a chat and snacks.

David was the Sunshine Coast Citizen of the Year in 2016. He is a school chaplain, is married and with his wife Adrienne has nine children - five of their own and four fostered.

David likes to make boutique beers and follows his beloved Richmond Tigers AFL team.

The forum is at 6pm for a 6.30pm start and will finish about 8pm at the hall, located at 1 Reed Street, Glass House Mountains.

This free event is hosted by the Glasshouse Country Suicide Prevention Working Group.

This group of locals meets at Henry & Co Café in Landsborough at 9.30-11am on the first Monday of the month.
