Colgate community garden challenge
The River School, Maleny, has recently joined other participating schools in the Terracyle Community Garden Challenge for a chance to win a community garden set.

If you would like to support the school’s entry all you need to do is collect your oral hygiene waste items, then take them to the closest drop off point where they will be collected, packed and sent away to be recycled.

By joining the River School you are also helping to reduce your share of what goes into landfill.
Items for collecting include any brand of toothbrushes, empty toothpaste tubes/caps and floss containers as well as their packaging, which can be dropped off at Maleny IGA, Landsborough IGA and Beerwah Woolworths. You may need to ask a friendly team member where to put your items. This promotion runs until the end of September, so you can work with The River School to reduce what goes into landfill.
