When choosing the right table for you its always a good idea to think about how you are going to use the item. Below is a list of questions to ask yourself which will help in your final choice:

Options such as colour, finish and texture will all help when looking for the perfect finished article. ALL GLASS OR SOMETHING EXTRA? When choosing your coffee table its a good idea to consider if you want all glass or some alternative leg structure. If you are worried about your floors being uneven then the Glassdomain Classic coffee table is a good choice as its has an adjustable mechanism built into the foot to cope with these situations. If you frequently rearrange your room a coffee table with Castors could be a really useful addition. The C&C coffee
table comes with both legs and castors so you can pick and choose to suit your changing lifestyle requirements. COLOUR AND FINISH Colour can play a very important part in how a room feels; whether you are after ‘contemporary cool’ or ‘warm and cosy’, there are a vast range of colours to choose from. Some helpful tips to consider when choosing colour are to think about how you want the room to feel? Dark colours can help add depth and composition to large spaces while light and even clear glass options can help to make a smaller space feel larger. Another great tip when choosing a colour is to take a look at the colours and tones already your room. Interior designers often link the colours in our coffee tables with small items such as coloured cushions and vases - this helps to bring the room together as a single cohesive scheme. For many years glass tables have always been associated with transparency, now with new advancements in glass technology we can offer you a massive range of colour and surface finishes that can truly enhance your dining experience. We love the purity of transparent all glass tables because they help to add space to confined areas however the addition of colour can offer something different and truly enhance the feel of your room. Lighter colours will make the room and table feel lighter, while darker colours will make your table more prominent and add richness and warmth. For a contemporary feel and to make a statement don’t forget to check out some of the brighter colours or luxury finishes which are available. In addition to colours many of our items can now be ordered in Frosted / Acid Etch glass finishes or both combining both colour and Acid etch. These finishes give a matt texture to the table surface - great if you are looking for all the advantages of glass but without the high gloss.
A clear design trend at present is to choose the same colour and finishes for both the top and base (or legs) this gives the product more impact and a purity of form.
USEFUL TO KNOW: Extra Clear and Standard Glass:
Did you know that you can now choose from two types of transparent glass on many of our tables. Standard clear glass is identified by the dark green edge and also a slight green tint when looking through the body of glass (Shown below Right). This tint is quite subtle and the majority of furniture is made using this glass. Extra Clear Glass is now becoming more and more popular. The glass itself is almost entirely without tint when viewed through the body of material and the edge has more of a crystal blue tint (show below Left). Extra clear glass is also sometimes known as low iron glass.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN IS SIT AROUND MY NEW DINING TABLE? We are often asked by clients as to how many people or chairs can they can fit around a chosen table? This will vary depending on the size and style of table and also the style of chair you choose. This useful guide will help you determine the correct size of table you will need. The number of people you seat around a table can normally be worked out roughly from the size of the table top, however it is always a good idea to consider a number of factors to make sure the choice is right for you. It’s always good to start with table shape, think about what shape will work in your room. Sometimes circular or oval tables can offer slightly more space in the room but still accommodate the same amount of people as the rectangular or square version. The position of the table legs can also play a part in determining the seating numbers. Central columns offer the most space around the perimeter of the table, while more traditional legs, positioned on the edge, can offer more space underneath.
