The cable, at its full extent, is pretty long, so this options (which adds the hassle of controlling volume via the device, rather than the in-line control) might be good if you want a little less wire to deal with. Overall, these are stunning. Sure, they are rather bulky, which may put people off, but with that size comes a level of performance that is truly excellent. The comfort and versatility of set-up are added bonuses, because the real function here - sound delivery - really is top notch.
