Payment and pick-up will be in the checkout area. Any art not picked up tonight will incur a delivery charge of $50 to be paid by the winner. Winners outside of the Manhattan area will be subject to pay additional amount (determined by delivery service). GLAAD will contact the winner within 7 days to make arrangements.

JORDAN EAGLES Jordan Eagles (b. 1977) has been working and preser ving animal blood for over a dozen years. Through an invented process, he suspends, encases, and permanently preser ves the blood, salvaged from slaughterhouses, in plexiglass and UV resin. Eagles’ unique, multidimensional works explore themes of regeneration and the intangible connections bet ween body, spirit and nature. The allegorical potential of his raw and precious materials form a compelling multi- sensor y experience — providing an allegor y of death to life. Jordan Eagles’ works are held in the permanent collections of The Everson Museum of Ar t, The Addison Galler y of American Ar t, The Mobile Museum of Ar t, The Fuller Craf t Museum, The Museum of Sex, The Elmhurst Ar t Museum, Universit y of Michigan Museum of Ar t, The Peabody Essex Museum, The Everhar t Museum, The International Museum of Surgical Science, The Museum of Contemporar y Religious Ar t, The Prudential Center Arena and many private collections around the world. His work has been in feature films and a reproduction of one of his images is being used as a massive 50 -foot stage cur tain for Alice Cooper’s international rock concer t. Eagle’s work has been featured in The New York Times, TIME, The Huf fington Post, New York Magazine, SF Chronicle, Ar t Ltd., Ar tInfo.com and many other online and print publications. Eagles has t wo solo exhibitions scheduled in Januar y 2013 and the Visual Ar ts Center of New Jersey and The Museum of Contemporar y Religious Ar t in St. Louis and is featured in the exhibition Blood is the Life at the Everhar t Museum in Febuar y 2013.

HERB RITTS Herb Rit ts began his photographic career in the late 70’s, and has since gained a reputation as a master of ar t and commercial photography. In addition to producing por traits and editorial fashion for Vogue, Vanit y Fair, Rolling Stone and Inter view, he also created successful adver tising campaigns for Calvin Klein, Chanel, Donna Karan, Gap, Gianfranco Ferre, Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, Levis, Pirelli and Valentino among others. Since 1988 Herb directed numerous influential and award winning music videos and commercials. His fine ar t photography has been the subject of solo museum and galler y exhibitions. The 2012 Herb Rit ts exhibition at the Get t y Museum set new at tendance records for the museum drawing over 360,000 visitors.

Reinaldo Sanguino (b. 1973, Caracas, Venezuela) graduated in 1993 from the School of Visual Ar ts Cristobal Rojas in Caracas, concentrating on ceramics. Af ter graduating he relocated to New York Cit y, where he currently works and lives. He has exhibited in both one - person and group shows throughout the United States and Latin America. He is the recipient of national and international grants - award and has par ticipated in ar tist in residency programs throughout the United States.

BIOS RICHARD ACKOON
b. 1968 At an early age, Ackoon showed an interest in art. His uncle, Patrick Chu Foon, a noted Trinidadian painter and sculptor, nurtured his artistic abilities and encouraged him to become involved in the fine arts. Right out of high school, Richard traveled to Miami, FL, to complete an AA degree in Communication Design. He returned home to Trinidad to work within the children’s textbook industry as a graphic designer, copywriter and editor. He then went on to complete a BFA program, specializing in painting, at the School of Visual Arts. Since 1999, Ackoon has produced works for solo and group exhibitions.
GHIORA AHARONI
b. 1969 Ghiora Aharoni is an Israeli-born artist, architect and designer who lives and works in Manhattan. His work has been shown in galleries in New York and appears in numerous private collections in the United States and Israel. In May 2012, Aharoni was commissioned to create a large-scale installation, “The Divine Domesticated.” This September, four panels from the installation were permanently installed in the theater lobby of 14th Street Y in Manhattan. He holds a Masters degree from the Yale University School of Architecture. His work includes sculpture, installations, mixedmedia and photo-based pieces.
DANIEL ALBERT
b. 1982 Albert is a native New Yorker and has been an active artist since his teenage years. He pursued this love, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in 2007 and has been exhibiting artwork ever since. He has shown throughout Manhattan, the surrounding boroughs and Long Island in the past, as well as Florence, Italy.

b. 1961 Amato has a BFA in photography from SVA and an MFA in new media art from LIU. After years as an editorial and advertising photographer, Ron is currently the chairperson of the photography department at FIT. In recent years Ron has designed visual media for theatrical productions.

b. 1987 Baglio received a BA from Hampshire College in 2009, and in 2012, she graduated from the New York Academy of Art, with an MFA in oil painting. Her work has been displayed in multiple exhibitions in the New York area, most recently at Kraine Gallery in Manhattan.

b. 1966 Barnes studied photojournalism at Indiana University. He started his artistic photography career in 2005. Focusing on the fine art male nude, Barnes has been featured in galleries in New York, Chicago, and Indianapolis; had a fine art calendar published; and has been featured in Starrfucker Magazine and on DNA Magazine’s blog, among others.
MIKEAL BÉLAND
b. 1984 Educated at the University of Washington, Beland studied Comparative History and Visual Arts. He is an artist and photographer; practicing designer and creative consultant; and principal of Lotus Effect Design, a studio specializing in photography, print and web solutions across traditional and evolving media. His photography spans reportage, documentary, portraiture, fine art and architecture for both commercial and commissioned clients; and his works have been featured at galleries and auctions in New York City, Seattle and Europe for philanthropic causes.
COLLEEN BLACKARD
b. 1987 Blackard currently lives and works in New York City. She received a BA from Hampshire College, MA. Her first solo exhibition, “For The Universe,” opened in 2009 at Hampshire College Gallery, and she has been included in exhibitions at Rush Arts Gallery, Family Business Gallery, Orchard Windows Gallery, Times Square, and Contrast at 320 Studios.
RICHARD BRUCE
b. 1965 Bruce studied painting and printmaking at Marshall University. After a brief time in North Carolina, Bruce moved to New York, where he attended the School of Visual Arts while working at the Robert Miller Gallery. AL BRUNI-OCANA
b. 1980 Al Bruni-Ocana was born into a diplomatic family and was exposed to the wonders of the world of fine arts at an early age. He studied photography and painting at The Museum School in Boston and Parsons in NYC. Bruni-Ocana experiments with a variety of media and is considered a “gifted colorist with a strong sense of composition and form.” He is currently based out of his Manhattan studio, but travels the world for his many projects that range from gallery installations, international fashion editorials & campaigns, entertainment and celebrity photography.

b. 1973 David Bromstad’s infectious blend of energy, creativity and dedication to each project distinguish him as a truly unique artist, design personality and television host. David is the original winner of HGTV Design Star and can currently be seen on three of television’s hottest design shows, including the new series The White Room Challenge. David produced his first exhibition of art and custom furniture for Art Basel Miami Beach in December 2011, which is the country’s top visual arts event. In 2011, many of David’s signature paintings were made available to the public for the very first time through a partnership with Penny Lane Publishing. The art is also available in large format wallpaper murals from Murals Your Way. He is the first ever HGTV personality to be named to the OUT Magazine 100 List, alongside international superstar Ricky Martin and Oscar-nominated actress Julianne Moore.
JESSICA BURKE
b. 1976 Jessica Burke was born in Wichita, Kansas and was raised on a steady diet of Saturday morning cartoons and Little Debbie snack cakes. She left the University of North Carolina in 2005 armed with a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and just enough charm to be dangerous. Ms. Burke is an Assistant Professor of Art and Director of the Foundations Program at Georgia Southern University. She maintains a small, but productive studio in Statesboro, Georgia. Her work is in both public and private collections and it has been shown throughout the United States, Mexico, Japan, the Netherlands and Italy.
ROBERT CAMILLERI
b. 1979 An early passion for sketching gradually evolved into a more serious pursuit of capturing on canvas the simple beauty of basic shapes and colors using acrylic paints. A graduate of Dartmouth College, his work is primarily featured in private collections. g l a a d . o r g 53

LUIS CARLE
b. 1962 Carle moved to New York City in 1984. This was a particularly exciting moment in New York in which Carle found many outlets for his creativity. He credits the period as intensely imaginative period that sadly reflects on the loss of many bright individuals and colleagues due to the AIDS epidemic that marked the era. In 1992, the artist created O.P. Art, Inc. (Organization of Puerto Rican Artists, Inc.) not-for-profit, run by artists collective. His efforts have been recognized as an important source of Latin art.

b. 1963 Casselman’s curiosity with the limitless nature of the creative process and its ability to transform what and how we see began while he was an economics major at Pitzer College. Working almost exclusively with light for 25 years, Casselman has recently started to explore paint and specifically the abstract work of Gerhard Richter. Tipping Casselman into his current direction was a Facebook challenge posed by NY Mag art critic Jerry Saltz. The story aside, Mr. Saltz now has two of these new pieces in his collection.
NICHOLAS CHISTIAKOV
b. 1981 Chistiakov is the great-grandfather of the artist Alexander Stashevsky, served as the minister of justice in post-revolutionary Belarus, and was subjected to repressions in 1930s by People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs. In the mid-2000s, he moved to the United States. For several years in New York, Christiakov worked in construction and advertising. He produced a new body of work under the influence of impressive contrasts of life in ultramodern New York and isolated Italian suburbia. In 2005, he visited Germany. This travel significantly affected the themes in the artist’s oeuvre. In May of 2007, he had a debut solo exhibition in New York: Time and Measures.
GREG CLIMER
b. 1979 Climer holds a BA in theater design & classical studies from Rollins College and an MFA in Design Technology from Parsons. He is Assistant Professor of Fashion Design at Parsons, the New School for Design. His work looks to bridge mediums: exploring not only fashion design but also puppetry, stop motion animation, pattern drafting, and technology.

JON DUCI
b. 1982 Duci is a New York-based artist, whose work includes painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, printmaking, and digital art. He began making art as a child and his artistic vision has been evolving since that time. He studied Fine Art at Adelphi University and has been showing his work throughout New York in group and solo exhibitions. He also composes and performs music occasionally.
NAOMI EDMONDSON
b. 1989 Edmonson is a native New Yorker, who has always possessed a love for words and music. From memorizing monologues to doodling song lyrics on her jeans, she has always surrounded herself with the written word. She began to seriously hone her craft during her senior year of high school. She has studied under artists Dawn Clements and Gary Burnley. She wasted no time at Sarah Lawrence, impressing the community with her work while studying studio art, literature and history. Her obsessive wordbased drawings and paintings are attempts to capture her slippery thoughts on paper.

b. 1977 Carla Fache is a visual artist, whose command of color, raw geometrics, texture and absence of stroke, along with her continuous exploration of the essential and the primitive, are part of the most recognizable drivers of her works. She studied visual arts at Colegio Artistico de las Condes in Chile and painting at Florida International University. She began showing her work in the United States in 2001. Fache’s first exhibition in the USA was held in 2001 in the Miami Art and Design District. To date, she has had 73 solo art exhibitions and 132 group exhibitions.

b. 1956 Fahrni is a visual communicator who has developed his skills in a number of highly specialized disciplines in the visual field: conservator, scenic artist, film title and typeface designer. Designing photography books (for steidldangin) and his years directing at the Forward Thinking Museum (a virtual space for contemporary photography) have reinforced his love of photography.

HUGO FERNANDES
b. 1985 Fernandes received his BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in NYC in 2007. Hugo’s photographs are a journey through his life, depicting his unique experiences with two very different groups of people: those he knows intimately and those whom he has just met online. Inspired by his feelings of never fitting in, his photographs reflect on and aim to capture moments of impact through private portraits of himself or others. The resulting images are reclusive and personal, yet cinematic and seductive.

b. 1956 Flynt’s work has been widely exhibited in the United States and abroad since 1980. In 1992, he was included in “New Photography” at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, where his work is in the permanent collection, as well as in the Metropolitan Museum, International Center of Photography, L.A. County Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston , among many others.
JULIA FORREST
b. 1988 Forrest is a Brooklyn based artist. She graduated from Hartford Art school with a BFA in photography. Surrounded by the constant creativity in NY and only a subway ride away from any museum or gallery, Julia constantly involves herself in the art world. Her own art has always been her top priority in life and in this digital world, she will continue to work with old processing. Anything can simply be done in photoshop, Julia prefers to take the camera, a tool showing reality, and experiment with what can be done in front of the lens. Forrest creates surreal environments, tricking the camera into what it sees.
GREG FREDERICK
b. 1982 Greg Frederick’s vinyl pop art is inspired by modern-day street artists such as Banksy, Mr. Brainwash and Shepard Fairey. His pieces are created with broken record vinyls, their sleeves and packaging, and other recycled materials. His work appeared next to Andy Warhol silkscreens at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art in his first professional show, while the influential design website Fab.com highlighted Greg as its featured artist in January 2012. Eight months later he had first solo gallery show in Las Vegas at Get Up Gallery lasting all of August.

LILA FREEMAN
b. 1979 Freeman was raised in Evanston, Illinois. She earned her BFA from Pratt Institute, majoring in Drawing. She has exhibited in non-traditional spaces such as Spring Studio and Vic’s Bagel Bar in Manhattan, as well as in numerous galleries. She composes still lifes using objects she cannot bear to discard: frayed blouses, mildewed sneakers, out-of-circulation soda cans. Her models are friends, family members, pets, subway riders, and nude models. Lila also holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Pratt, and works as a public librarian. Lila lives and makes art in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

b. 1964 Gina Garan was born and raised in Ardsley, NY and has lived in NYC since 1983. She has shown her work world-wide and has a rabid following. Gina has a dozen books out about Blythe and a new one out this year called ‘Susie Says’, a collaboration with Justin Bond. Her work has appeared in Vogue, The NY Times, People and countless other publications.
KRISTIN GAMBELL
b. 1974 When she is not in the darkroom making photograms or creating other forms of art, she enjoys being active in the art community, listening to music, cooking, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. Kristin Gambell lives and works in NYC.
ALEX GEANA
b. 1979 When Alex Geana took a photograph of Anna Wintour with Desiree Rodgers at a Donna Karan fashion show, Gawker and other online news sites published the image and launched his career as a photographer. Since then, his photography has been published in the book Daphne Guinness by Yale University Press, and exhibited by the Leslie Lohman Museum, The Museum at FIT, Chair and the Maiden Gallery, and the School of Visual Arts.
JOSEPH GEARY
b. 1988 Geary is a recent graduate from the painting department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Since then he has continued make work out of his painting studio in the South End of Boston while represented by Galatea Fine Art. He loves coffee and funky eyewear.

b. 1963 Goben was raised in Winnipeg CA,and Hartselle,Alabama. Educated at Lincoln College in Illinois, Mik majored in Human Resources with a minor in Art. A gallery owner and fine art oil painter, Mik prefers to paint classic portraits of the blue collar and average Joe. Mik, being shy and awkward in social situations, finds her time painting alone and sticking to her gallery, where she feels most at ease, and most creative.

b. 1966 Rory Golden has received fellowships from Yaddo, the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, the Blue Mountain Center for major projects “Your One Black Friend” and “See Related Story: The Murder of J.R. Warren.” Recent awards include a research grant from Duke University Libraries Special Collections, a Puffin Foundation Grant, a residency at Blue Sky Project and the Manhattan Graphics Center, all towards completing “You Think I Can Eat All This Chicken Here?” Rory is currently the 2012 Phillip C. Curtis Artist in Residence at Albion College (MI).

b. 1965 Hatry studied art at various German art schools and art history at the University of Heidelberg. Since moving to New York in 2003 she has curated numerous exhibitions in the United States, Germany, and Spain and has shown her own work at museums and galleries in those countries as well. She has edited more than two dozen books and art catalogues. Her book Skin was published by Kehrer, in 2005, Heads and Tales was published by Charta, in 2009 and Not a Rose is forthcoming (Charta, 2012).
JUAN HINOJOSA
b. 1980 Juan Hinojosa is a mixed-media installation artist who currently lives and works in New York. Constructed from stolen and found objects, his complex, collage-drawing installations challenge the obsessive consumerism and social stratification of American culture. Hinojosa received his BFA from Parsons School of Design and was awarded residencies at both the Vermont Studio Center and Aljira Center for Contemporary Art (Emerge 9). His exhibitions include Cuchifritos Project Place (New York), Queens Museum of Art (New York), Aljira Center for Contemporary Art (Newark) and Arteria (Shanghai). Most recently he was accepted into NYFA’s “Artist Boot Camp” where he was profiled and photographed for the cover of The New York Times.

CALLIE HIRSCH
b. 1964 Hirsch is a New York City based artist who has exhibited in numerous National and International shows over the last twenty-one years. She just completed a commission to design the artwork for the MTA, Arts for Transit program. Installation was completed in three faceted glass and epoxy panels, titled “Vast” in May 2012 at 105th Street Beach station in the Rockaways, NYC. Her artwork has been featured on the cover of both (M)Othering the Nation: Constructing and Resisting National Allegories through the Maternal Body, and the Feminist Studies Journal, FS Issue 31.3 Fall 2005 Edition. Internationally she was invited to exhibit in the Biennale Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea, in Florence, Italy, and at the Aukcio-Ernst Muzeum, Hungary. In 2004, she had her first experience as a set designer at the famous East Village theater, La MaMa Etc.

b. 1962 Honicki plays out his “dramas” in the Capital District Region of New York State. In addition to staging and documenting his personal vignettes, he is a media arts educator at Niskayuna High School where he teaches Photography and Video.

b. 1982 Ibañez majored in film making and screenwriting. Both of his photographic books, EneME (2010), and its new release, The Leftlovers (2012) have received worldwide releases and spotted the top1 in iTunes Charts. He currently lives in Beijing, China, where he takes most of his photographs.

b. 1981 Painter, sculptor, graphic designer, art director. Caleb always loved drawing. As a child in grade school, he was always in trouble for drawing during class. Even though he was creative as a child, Caleb was more interested in sports. He was drafted his freshman year in college by the Kansas City Royals in the 2001 Major League Baseball Draft. His highest high turned to his lowest low as shortly after being drafted, Caleb suffered an injury and realized his baseball career would not take the path he had intended. At that point, he found art again and his newfound passion lead him to graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design from Northwestern State University. After graduating, he felt his way through the design world and is now a successful Art Director in the Entertainment world. Caleb’s work has been seen at the FAME Art Exhibition in Austin, TX, N-Gen Studios Group Show in Dallas TX and Group Exhibition at the Empire Hotel in New York City. His work can also be found at Brick Row Urban Village in Dallas, TX.

b. 1984 At the age of 17, Kasper moved to Brooklyn, NY to independently explore art and music. She holds a 5-year accredited bachelor degree in architecture from Pratt Institute School of Architecture where she was selected for the Honors Rome Program. She’s passionate about traveling the world, creating street art via architecture and loves mermaids.

Sky Kim received a Master’s Degree in Painting at Pratt Institute. She is a recipient of the National Museum of Contemporary Art’s National Korean Art Competition Awards and a Pratt Institute Art Grant. She has exhibited in galleries, museums and art fairs throughout the U.S. and Korea, including the DUMBO Arts Festival, Gwangju Biennale, MOCA DC and Governors Island Art Fair. On an unconscious level, my work is largely influenced by the loss of my twin sister at birth. I believe remembering her in my art is a way to complete my being as every old and new cell of my body remembers every minute I was with her.
ROBERT KITCHEN
b.1949 d.2009 He studied at Tyler School of Art and received awards including the Prix de Rome. In 1970 Robert came to New York and participated in a group show of drawing at the Museum of Modern Art. He exhibited at the Deutsche Project Gallery Soho. Kitchen’s work is self-expressive in a manner unique to his own interpretations of life and struggles. The dilemmas of life in our own encapsulated briefness are strong. We are caught here between the realism of the figures and the fears they represent.

b. 1983 Rachel Klinghoffer received her Masters in Fine Arts in Painting with honors from Rhode Island School of Design in 2012. b. 1968 Moria Lahis was born in Haifa Israel and raised in New York and Jerusalem. She has been taking photography since the age of 16. Educated in Israel she got her B.F.A. from Betzalel Academy of Fine Arts and Design where she majored in photography. She has exhibited in Israel, Paris, London, New York and China.

b. 1954 In the past year, Jamie Leo led a winning team at a tech hackathon, slept in a cave, and gave a lecture on day-glo paint at the 92nd St Y. An Albee Fellow in writing and a designer of B’way’s RENT (as well as many legendary downtown theater works), his interdisciplinary output includes published works, award-winning video/theatrical design, art installations, AIDS activism, and advocacy for other social justice causes. He is a frequent collaborator, adjudicator, and evangelist in new media communities. He is currently working on a new body of 3D photographs.

Most recently her work was published in B & W Magazine and Creative Quarterly. b. 1981 Monique Marian was born in New York, NY to parents who emigrated from Romania. After learning English at the age of 6, she couldn’t stop saying “surface as sound.” Therefore, it’s no surprise her artwork and take on life revolves around music and architecture. After medical school and some time living abroad, Monique returned to New York to pursue architecture, receiving a bachelor’s of architecture from Pratt Institute School of Architecture where she is now a faculty member.

b. 1968 Steven Menendez was destined for fashion. Born and raised in Miami, he was drawn to fashion photography since early childhood. At young age he began styling his wardrobe from head to toe and directing his own photo shoots. He attended the International Center of Photography in New York in 2001 and has exhibited at the Barbara Levy gallery in Fire Island in 05,06,07. His work has also been published in Desert Living, Magpie Darling, Time Out and Next magazines.

b. 1982 Mikelson is an artist and curator based in Brooklyn. Her work has been exhibited at Jack Tilton Gallery, NY; the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), Brooklyn, NY; Paul Robeson Galleries, Rutgers University, NJ; DiVA Fair Miami and the Bridge Art Fair, London. ANDREW MUELLER
Born in Centre Hall Pennsylvania. He studied Art History at Penn State University and moved to New York City in 2002 to serve as the Director of Admissions & Financial Aid at the New York Academy of Art. His photographs have been exhibited at the New York Academy of Art and in other venues throughout the five boroughs.
EVA MUELLER
b. 1969 Mueller originally studied graphic design and worked as an art director in Munich but made the transition to photography soon after making the big move to Manhattan. Her trademarks are stark, minimal images with a sometimes dark, yet humorous twist. “Less is more,” she says about her vision. She mostly acts as art director for her shoots, incorporating her graphic design background. Eva’s projection work has been embraced by the advertising and music industry.

b. 1957 Mullaney is a photographer, designer and writer who divides his time between New York City and Livingston Manor. His work has been exhibited in New York City, Los Angeles, Provincetown and the Catskills. His book, Three Portfolios is available from blurb.com. b. 1979 Inspired by street art as well as the fashion and beauty industries, Math-You Namie’s hand-painted portraits on fabric and recycled materials are in high demand among pop art collectors. Math-You’s work portrays a sense of movement and ease through its use of vintage textiles and hand- painting with acrylics. His technique is primarily figurative, employing negative space to graphically reproduce the subjects. The color palette utilizes a spectrum of tones that compliment one another for a vivid, sensuous effect. Math-You is a graduate of Hunter College and now resides in New York City.

RICHARD OSZUST
b. 1959 Oszust is an independent graphic designer and photographer living in Manhattan. He studied architecture at Brooklyn Technical High School and graphic design and photography at School of Visual Arts in New York. Richard was part of Manhattan’s burgeoning East Village art scene in the early ‘80s, where he exhibited photos, paintings and illustrations. During the ‘90s and today he works as an art director and corporate graphic designer. Oszust’s photography has been used in fashion and entertainment advertising, and this year he published a book of photographs titled “Reflection.” Photographing New York City has always been a passion and lifelong project.

b. 1962 Paradiso earned a BFA at the State University of New York (Purchase) and MFA at the State University of New York Buffalo). He is a mixed media artist and describes his work as metaphorical and based upon such issues as identity, sexuality, health, and love. Leemour Pelli is an artist living and working in New York City. Phillips found a passion for photography as a teen. His love of photography grew while living & studying abroad in Japan before settling in New York City in the early 1990’s. Akimitsu Sadoi relocated to NYC in 1990. Working with various artists, designers and photographers through the years gained him understanding of the creative process. With a background in computer science and electronics, he creates art objects with LEDs in his free time. b. 1980 Reese spent the majority of his years in northeastern Connecticut periodically spending time in many US cities, and has visited Greece and many other places in Europe and Turkey. He spends much time researching things for his art pieces, and is fascinated with world culture, architecture, early modernism and earned early on a reputation for portraying idealized male figures in his work and for making portraits.

Reynolds is a visual artist working in a variety of different media. She currently splits her time between Toronto, Canada, and Brooklyn. b. 1976 For many years, Robierb lived between poetry and photography using photos to translate his words into images and make them visual. As time went by, the artist found that he had little time for writing because photography had become the greatest part of his life and work. At 20, Robierb moved to São Paulo, to become a professional photographer. Art et Partage Association in Aix en Provence, France, showed his first solo show, Brezil Autrement. In Zurich, Image House Gallery also exhibited Brezil Autrement. In Paris, Quadra Gallery presented his series Visages Metis. The Brezil-Italy Institute presented his series African Beauty in a solo show in Milan. He participated in the Art Curial Monaco for Fight Aids Foundation.
LISA ROSS
b. 1964 Ross is a photographer and video artist who has exhibited, lectured, and taught for over twenty years. Her work has been shown in Europe and the United States, including a solo exhibition at the Rubin Museum of Art (2013); the University of California, Berkeley; and at Les Rencontres d’Arles, in France. Ross has received residencies from the Bronx Museum, the American Austrian Foundation, and the CICRP/French Ministry of Culture. Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University. A monograph of her work, “Living Shrines of Uyghur China” will be released by the Monacelli Press February 2013.

b. 1964 Mike Ruiz is a world-renowned photographer, who also happens to be a TV personality, former model, actor and director. b. 1963 After a 3-decade business career, Barry is now dedicated full-time to his photographic work. A phone call from Oprah Winfrey calling him her “new favorite photographer” helped convince him to commit to his fine art photographic work. He later enrolled in the Masters in Fine Art program at The School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he is currently studying full-time.

b. 1984 Schaming moved to New York in 2008 for graduate school at School of Visual Arts. Upon completing his MFA in Fine Arts at SVA in 2010, Wade stayed in New York where he currently lives and works. This year he participated in the Artist in the Marketplace (AIM) program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts. In 2013 he will be included in the 2nd AIM Biennial.

The relationship between pattern and color is an integral aspect of my practice. I observe the waythat repetitive designs become incorporated in to the framework of daily life; usually this means a lot of time thinking about found patterns in tropical plants, scarf designs and close up photograph clip art. It’s interesting the way that design details take on a heightened significance.

b. 1964 Born and raised in Texas, Stephens fled to Boston where he attended the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He moved to New York in 2000, and currently lives and works in Brooklyn. He began making paper collages over 20 years ago. As Stephens working methods evolved, his palette of raw materials expanded to include paint, drawings and found objects. Whatever the medium, Greg’s process of collecting fragments and assembling new possibilities has always been more intuitive than premeditated. The meanings attached to these artifacts often become clear only as they are accumulated, juxtaposed and assembled into resonant webs of pictorial clues.

Born in Minsk and raised in Israel and South Africa. Now resides in Toronto and exhibits primarily as a member of XXXX Collective. Photography has been my main medium for quite a few years before I began to branch out into video and installation. I like images that are clearly constructed but have validity and truth to them. Although I would consider myself a conceptual artist, I am interested in the spaces where language isn’t sufficient to communicate the work in its entirety. b. 1978 Duane Tollison is a photographer and journalist whose essay, “Our Smoking Habit,” was recently published in the New York Times Magazine. Tollison describes this work as, powerful, silent, imposing, severe, forceful, and audacious.

b. 1976 Winston Torr was born in Toronto, Canada, grew up in Los Angeles, California, and now residing in Berlin, Germany. Educated in California Polytechnic State University, Torr holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. Dedicated to temporal works of decay figuration addiction, Torr’s stark black figures on newspaper are prominently featured at Fellini Gallery Berlin, “Giant Little Creatures”: a Mural scaled at 4x5 yards. His international debut book “The Daily New(d)s” consist of 365 daily self portraits in one year.

b. 1968 Towne came to New York City 20 years ago to attend the School of Visual Arts, where he earned both a B.F.A. and M.F.A. degree. His paintings have been featured in galleries including Michael Mut Gallery, The Leslie + Lohman Museum of Gay & Lesbian Art, The Barbara Ann Levy Gallery; and Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. His work has been reproduced and written about in publications such as American Artist Magazine, Time Out New York, and Next Magazine. George has settled in New York’s East Village neighborhood, and has continued with his love of painting and depicting masculine images.
KEVIN TRUONG
b. 1982 Kevin Truong was born in a refugee camp for Vietnamese boat people in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Raised by a single mother of three in Portland, Oregon, Truong is currently pursuing an education in the fine arts at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. As an emerging visual artist, Truong creates pieces of work that draw upon his own varied experiences--as a gay man, as an immigrant, as a native Oregonian turned New Yorker. Truong has been the recipient of numerous awards, and has done work shooting for The New York Times.

b. 1960 Walker is a New York based photographer, writer and designer. His work has appeared in numerous publications including Communication Arts, Newsweek and Time Magazine.

b. 1969 Willey received a BFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University in 1993. Shortly after graduation Matthew painted his first mural. This led to the building of a successful mural business creating works for clients across the country. His murals have been featured in the New York Times, Veranda Magazine, Interior Design Magazine and many other publications.
TRAVIS WILLIAMS
b. 1984 Williams received a BFA in Photography from UNT. He works in New York as a freelance artist and photography editor. His photography accentuates the importance of color in relationship to light by shooting film. His work invites viewers into a moment in time happening around us which borderlines the voyeuristic.
GRANT YOUNG
b. 1979 Grant graduated from the University of Northampton with a BA in Fashion. He established his own label with sponsorship from the prince’s Trust, designing a range of illustrated tee shirts. Grant exhibited in Camden Lock Gallery, after being one of 10 UK national finalists in a design competition. His illustration recently won a national design competition on Talenthouse.com. He now lives and works in San Francisco.
ROBERT ZASH
b. 1975 Zash was only eleven when he made his first images with a professional camera. Thus began a lifelong exploration of photography as a creative medium. At eighteen, he had already been invited to participate in four group photography shows and three solo gallery exhibitions in Connecticut and Westchester County. Zash attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan while supporting himself as a custom photographic lab manager. In 2003 he established his studio in New York City.
