Pablo and the Quails By Wyatt
Once upon a time there was a boy named Pablo who lived in the Chihuahuan Desert. Pablo would always chase and throw rocks at the quails in his neighborhood. When the quails were fed up with this, they hatched a plan. But Pablo went on a vacation so the quails were left in peace for a little while.
But when Pablo returned, he started chasing and throwing rocks at the quails. Then the quails squawked a signal. Then suddenly all the quails in the Chihuahuan Desert started flying in circles around Pablo. Pablo was bewildered. Then the quails were going so fast they made a whirlwind and Pablo was sucked in and had traveled through time. When he awoke he was in a huge city. Pablo had aged terribly from ten to ninety. He had died a confused man. That’s why you are never supposed to be cruel to animals.
