Kids’ Triathlon Camp
Learn the fundamentals of swimming, biking, and running for a triathlon! This fun and fresh day camp focuses on everything from the basics of form to gear use and maintenance, transition skills, and sportsmanship. Campers learn pre-race preparation essentials including good nutrition and hydration habits, all while building character, self-esteem, and confidence. Games and activities keep things exciting each day, and the week culminates with the Kids’ Triathlon!

Kids’ Splash-n-Dash
Why tri? Triathlons are a beginner-friendly challenge for athletes of all ages, and what better time to rise to the challenge than as a kid? Triathlons facilitate personal growth and character development, building self-esteem and stick-to-itiveness while being a ton of fun! Grand Junction Rapids Swim Club
Take the plunge into club swimming with the Grand Junction Rapids! Team practices are in the mornings at Lincoln ParkMoyer Pool and five fun swim meets throughout the summer will put these young swimmers to the test. Registrants must be proficient in freestyle, backstrope, and breaststroke and be able to swim at least 50 yards non-stop.

Ninja Warrior Parkour
Learn to jump, vault, tumble, bounce, and spin your way under, over, and through whatever obstacles and barriers you come across. Led by Jeremey Sanders, international instructor and founder of exploreparkour.com, participants scramble through a well-developed progression to become their best ninja selves! Campers build strength, timing, balance, flexibility, and explosiveness as instructors lead them through challenging and fun skills and exercises. Instructors incorporate obstacle courses, martial art forms, acrobatic movements, and props to learn and choreograph key parkour and free-running movements. Participants end the week with a final showcasing of skills and earn a skills certificate. Bring appropriate clothing, snacks and lunch.

Little Rockers Summer Camp
Engage socially and physically through a variety of fun, climbing-related games and activities that focus on problem-solving skills while working on climbing fundamentals on top rope and in the bouldering area. This non-competitive camp guides participants into more advanced skills with rope handling and climbing. Harnesses and shoes are provided daily, although bringing your own gear is recommended. Participants need to bring a snack, refillable water bottle, and lunch daily.

Intro to Wilderness Survival
Learn the basics of thriving in the wild at this beginner’s camp. Develop confidence, initiative, communication skills, and common sense through fun survival scenarios in teams and on your own. Primitive skills taught include building shelters and fires, cordage, navigation, knots, traps, and much more. Bring appropriate clothing, snacks, and lunch.

Get ready for a full week of putting your survival skills to the test! Challenging activities include creating shelters, fire safety and building, knife safety, tracking, foraging, traps, orienteering, cordage, knots, and many more primitive skills. Campers will connect with the natural world and play survival-themed games while learning scenarios based on real-life survival. Bring appropriate clothing, snacks, and lunch.

Advanced Wilderness Survival
Campers work on their own and in teams to solve critical, real-world wilderness survival problems while learning invaluable skills such as knife safety, plant identification and uses, animal tracking, and navigation. From building shelters and fires to using various tools, traps, ropes, and knots, campers are challenged all week to think critically and creatively. Instructors help participants build initiative, self-control, confidence, and communication skills while making new friends. Bring appropriate clothing, snacks, and lunch.
