City Academy

Unlock the secrets of public service with City Academy. Local high school students will discover what it takes to run a municipality through hands-on experience and be a youth voice for City services by learning how to become an engaged and informed citizen. Participants will be immersed in the inner workings of public service departments including Fire, Police, Parks & Recreation, City Council, and more. Students will discover what exciting educational and vocational opportunities await them after high school. Essential skills such as resume writing and interviewing techniques are incorporated. The full benefit of the program stems from attendance of all 10 sessions. Join now and be a part of something truly special.

Swim Camp

This fun, exciting day camp is perfect for swimmers who are curious about joining the Grand Junction Rapids Swim Club. Dial in swim techniques with daily stroke workshops, build camaraderie with games and activities, and even get an introduction to springboard diving! Sign up by the end of the week to receive discounted registration for the Rapids Swim Club. Send your Swim Camper each day with their swimsuit, goggles, towel, sunscreen, bag lunch, and water bottle; snacks provided. Stay, swim, and ride the water slide at no additional fee daily.
