Let’s Get Started! Our council operates four camp properties across our footprint: Camp Amahami, Camp Comstock, Camp Hoover, and Camp Trefoil. Our summer camp sessions are open to youth entering grades 1-12 during the 2024-25 school year. You DON’T have to be a Girl Scout to join the fun—camp is for anyone looking for an outdoor adventure! We offer all-gender and girls-only day camps, girls-only overnight sessions, Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs, and group/family camping. No prior Girl Scout experience is required. (Non-Girl Scouts simply add a one-time $50 fee. If you become a Girl Scout after camp, we use this to register you as a GSNYPENN member and you enjoy all our council has to offer!) Deposits All sessions include a $50 non-refundable deposit. Trips/specialty programs include a $100 non-refundable deposit. Mom & Me and Me & My Pal are paid in full at the time of registration.

Camp Merch Pre-order merchandise and swag at girlslovecamp.org. Pre-orders close three weeks before the first session. Your order will be sent to the camp of your choice for your camper when they arrive. Shipping is available if you’re not attending sessions but still want to show your love for our camps by purchasing branded items! Merch will also be available for sale at camps through our Camp Trading Posts. (Hours vary by property, further info will be shared in your registration packet closer to attending your session.)

Earn Camp This Cookie Season Did you know that Girl Scouts can sell cookies and earn camp credits for GSNYPENN Summer Camp 2024?* That’s right! Based on a girl’s total packages sold during our 2024 cookie program, she can earn up to $800 towards our camp sessions! If she reaches these levels and chooses the Experience Credit option, she has the potential to earn: • • • • • •

Troop Core Amahami – June 28-30 Hoover – June 28-30 Trefoil – August 2-4 Girls entering grades K-12 & adults $85 per Girl Scout, $45 per adult, adults within ratio required This camping experience is for Girl Scouts and their troop leaders to enjoy a fun, community-based camping weekend. Girls and leaders will enjoy classic camp activities such as archery, swimming, boating, and more facilitated by our camp staff. Meals are provided throughout the program. Mom & Me Amahami – June 28-30 Comstock – June 28-29 Hoover - June 21-22 or 22-23 Trefoil – June 29-30 Girls entering grades K-12 & adults $65 per person for 1 night, $85 per person for 2 nights This overnight camping experience is for Girl Scouts and any special adult female! Participate together in some favorite camp activities like swimming, boating, and arts and crafts while enjoying each other’s company. Meals are provided throughout the program (Friday snack, Saturday breakfast and lunch). Me & My Pal Amahami - June 16 • 10 a.m.-4 p.m. $45 per person, lunch included Comstock - June 16 • 2-4 p.m. $20 per person Girls entering grades K-12 & adults Come celebrate Father’s Day with your favorite pal at camp. Family Camp Amahami - August 17-19 All ages $45 per person Why should the campers have all the fun? Pack your family and head to Amahami for a weekend of family fun, including all the old favorites like water activities, shooting sports, arts and crafts, and of course, s’mores! Campers will need to bring and prepare their meals, refrigeration and fire/stoves for cooking will be provided.

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) I & II Sessions CIT I: Girls entering grades 9-12 CIT II: Girls who have completed one week of CIT I at any GSNYPENN camp Applications for this FREE program must be submitted by May 15 CIT IIs may be asked to apply as staff for the following summer Amahami - CIT I: July 7-12, CIT II: July 14-26 Comstock - CIT I & II: July 7-12, July 14-19, July 21-26, July 28-August 2, August 4-9 Trefoil - CIT I & II: July 7-12, July 21-26 Want to be a Camp Counselor when you’re older? Or do you just want to develop your leadership skills? Then CIT is perfect for you! CITs spend the week building important life and camp skills while participating in camp activities. Explore the pathway to becoming a counselor as you learn about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, child behavior and characteristics, and outdoor skills. CITs work together to plan special themes throughout the summer, including taking the lead for our Thursday night activities supported by camp staff. Don’t worry, it’s not all work and no play! CITs also experience all the fun camp has to offer (no add-on adventures available).

Camp Amahami Deposit, NY • Est. 1929 Amahami is in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains and boasts over 450 acres of land to explore, a private lake to enjoy, a multi-use shooting sports area, a Solar STEM Lab, and our very own fire tower! Campers may sleep in a platform tent, rustic cabin, or lodge.

Girls-Only Overnight Camps Celebrate Camp Amahami’s 95th birthday with an all-summer-long birthday bash! We are wearing funny hats, eating birthday cake, and playing party games to celebrate Amahami’s 95-year-long gift to Girl Scouts. Amahami Adventurer July 7-12, July 14-19, July 21-26 Girls entering grades 2-4 Come discover Amahami and experience the magic. Go swimming, boating, throw fauxhawks, discover nature, do arts & crafts, cook out, have campfires and s’mores, meet our farm animals, have a picnic, play some Gaga Ball, make new friends, learn new skills and maybe you’ll even see fairies! Crafty Campers July 7-12 Girls entering grades 5-8 Do you love crafts? Spend the week doing traditional camp and nature crafts. Papermaking, stenciling, fancy friendship bracelets, macrame, making paper beads, working with clay. You’ll do it all! Giddy Up July 7-12 Girls entering grades 5-10 $800 per camper Campers will travel to the Lingering Hill Equestrian Center Monday-Friday for lessons in the mornings. Campers will return to camp before lunch and participate in onsite camp activities for the rest of the day. Transportation will be provided in a 10-passenger van. Campers will need to provide and wear long thick pants (denim or similar) and bring sturdy shoes with a heel. Canoe Trip Taster July 7-12 Girls entering grades 6-12 Bow or stern? Challenge your outdoor skills through camping and canoeing on an overnight canoe trip down the Susquehanna River. You’ll develop your skills at camp then put them to the test! One week’s camp experience is suggested; not for beginner campers.

Curtain Call July 14-19 Girls entering grades 5-7 Lights, camera, action! Get your “act” together and perform for camp and your family at the end of the week. Don’t worry, we’ll throw some traditional camp activities into the mix. Paint Amahami! July 14-19 Girls entering grades 6-12 If the fine arts call to you, come paint Amahami! Develop your skills and receive instruction from a graphic artist while you paint your favorite scenery at camp. Projects may include a photo hike, using watercolors and other mediums, and painting on location in nature. Nite Owls July 14-19 Girls entering grades 6-12 Stay up late, sleep in late, take a night hike, play glow-in-the-dark games, learn some astronomy, raid the kitchen for late night snacks! We may even throw in some daytime activities during this nocturnal camp! Get on Target July 21-26 Girls entering grades 7-12 Oh, shoot! Spend part of everyday shooting archery, tomahawks, and/or rifles. Learn proper techniques and improve your aim, plus do all the usual camp activities. Campers MUST be 12+ to participate in tomahawks and riflery as per the NYS Department of Health.

On Stage! July 21-26 Girls entering grades 6-12 From auditions to performance, we’ll cover it all in one week! After auditions, you will be cast in a short play, get acquainted with your character, rehearse, create your costume, and have a blast with the cast! Perform for camp and your family on Friday. Water FUN! July 21-26 Girls entering grades 5-7 Love the water? Spend loads of time on, in, and around Lake Waletka. Swim in the morning, afternoon, AND evening. Will your group brave the morning and do a polar bear swim before breakfast? You’ll go boating, have a floating lunch, go on a splash hike, and lots of other fun water activities in this wet and wild camp. Mini Session July 28-30 Girls entering grades 2-12 Not sure you’re ready for a full week of camp? Come try all the magic camp has to offer in this mini-session. Swimming, boating, arts & crafts, making new friends, having a campfire, eating s’mores, taking nature walks, making fairy houses (maybe you’ll even see some Amahami fairies, too).

Camp Beyond August 4-10 All genders ages 12-17 Camp Beyond is a weeklong overnight camp for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. Campers will experience traditional camp activities in a safe, welcoming environment led by staff within the LGBTQ+ community. Campers will also participate in talent shows, writing workshops, art immersions, camper-led games and activities, a clothing closet, a Pride parade, and much more. Camp Comstock Ithaca, NY • Est. 1927 At Comstock, campers enjoy the unique natural surroundings created by the Finger Lakes while living in beautiful tree-top cabin village units. Campers explore nature, challenge themselves, try something new, and make new friends.

Triphammer Rd., and Wegmans, 500 S. Meadow St. in Ithaca. Weekly Themes & Dates Week 1: Artful Adventure (O) July 7-12, (D) July 8-12 Adventure into Comstock with your creative side to make your mark with art. Campers will get to learn about famous artists and make art inspired by them, as well as explore different art mediums and methods to unlock their creativity! Week 2: STEM Week (O) July 14-19, (D) July 15-19 If you’ve ever wondered how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) could bring endless hours of summer fun, then this week of camp is for you! From identifying the creatures and features of the woods that hold Comstock by day, to learning how to read the sky full of stars and how they shine at night, all the STEM experiments of your dreams combined with your typical camp activities will come true! Girl Scouts are the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators, and leaders who may even find their spark at camp!

Week 3: Outdoor Skills Week (O) July 21-26, (D) July 22-26 Mini Session (O) July 21-23, July 24-26 The true meaning of what it is to learn about the outdoors! Build your skills with outdoor activities. Develop your skills and show everyone what you are capable of as we explore the world around us and its endless possibilities. Fire building, pitching tents, and more will sharpen your skills. Week 4: Magic & Mischief Week (O) July 28-August 2, (D) July 29-August 2 Witches and wizards and warlocks—oh my! This week’s camp will transform the grounds of Comstock into a magical realm full of mischief that only magic could produce! Bring your most magical mind and prepare for a week full of fun, and friends, and maybe even help to save the magical world forever. Week 5: Comstock’s Got Talent (O) August 4-9, (D) August 5-9 Want to perform your special (or hidden) talent for the whole camp? You can play an instrument and let out your inner rockstar, perform some magic, put on a skit with bunkmates, sing a song, and so much more! Take to the stage or exhibit your talents for all at camp to see. Get ready to shine in Comstock’s Got Talent. Week 6: Superhero Week (D) August 12-16 only Calling all young heroes, gear up! It’s time to unleash your superhero powers and go on an adventure. This week, campers are encouraged to embark on a brave and heroic journey. Campers will participate in superhero-themed activities, from creating a unique hero persona to superhero science and costume creation! We look forward to witnessing your child embrace their inner hero while having an unforgettable experience at our camp. Get ready for a week of action-packed adventures and super-heroic feats, and don’t forget to wear your favorite superhero costume! Trip Week (O) August 11-16 Girls entering grades 7-12 $650 per camper Have you ever wanted to explore the “Grand Canyon of the East” and gain leadership skills to navigate the outdoors? This trip is for you! Come join us for a week full of adventure, tenting, campfire cooking, nature science and exploration, and even a few dips in the swimming hole! We’ll get to know each other at Comstock as we prepare for our journey and learn the skills necessary for the trip. Then we’ll set out in the Girl Scout van to Letchworth State Park in Western NY for a jam-packed three days of everything the park has to offer! Throughout the trip, there will be a multitude of opportunities to not only earn badges but also to make life-long friendships and skills that help your leadership spirit shine!

Week 7: Space Cowpoke Week (D) August 19-23 Howdy, space pardner! This thrilling week combines the spirit of the Wild West with the mystery of the cosmos, inviting campers to explore like intergalactic cowpokes. With activities ranging from asteroid mining to rounding up aliens and even building a spaceship! We look forward to seeing you put on your cowhand hat and astronaut boots and set your sights on the final frontier. Get ready for a rootin’ tootin’ week of cosmic fun! Counselor-in-Training (CIT) I & II Want to be a camp counselor when you’re older? Or just want to develop your leadership skills? CIT is perfect for you! CITs spend the week building important life and camp skills while participating in camp activities. Campers will go to the ranch two days during the week and ride while working on self-exploration and discovery while out on the trail. Campers will need to provide and wear long thick pants (denim or similar) and bring sturdy shoes with a heel. Come Sail Away Weeks 1-5 for overnight campers only Girls entering grades 6-12 $75 per camper per week Sailing at Comstock is AMAZING! As beginning sailors, campers will learn the basics of sailing and spend two hours each day out on the water.

Camp Hoover Tully, NY • Est. 1929 Hoover is in the heart of Central New York on scenic Song Lake. Campers can challenge themselves at our archery range, paddle on our lake, and even go on a primitive camping trip on our private island!

Campers will participate in exciting space STEM activities and experiments along with classic camp activities including swimming, boating, shooting sports, and more! *Optional Thursday overnight: $20 per camper Girl Power July 22-26* This week is for girls only! Join your sisterhood of old and new friends as we play, hike, swim, and more at Hoover. We’ll have activities for all interests—rough and tumble, frills and frocks, and everything in between! Hoover-lympics July 29-August 2 Did you know the Olympics are happening in Paris AND at Hoover this summer?! Enjoy a week of fun competitions, obstacle courses, boat races, and team relays, along with all our fun traditional camp activities! LEGO Masters August 5-9* Are you as obsessed with LEGOs as we are? Then join us for this brick-tastic camp where we’ll do all things LEGO! Each day we’ll have built challenges, make crazy LEGO crafts, make LEGO slime, and much, much more! The week will end with a Lego Masters-level build challenge and each camper will receive a mini-fig. Who will be crowned LEGO Master in this hands-on camp? *Optional Thursday overnight at $20 per camper Holidays at Hoover August 12-16 Do you love decorating for the holidays? Is Halloween your favorite day of the year? Have you ever caught a leprechaun on St. Paddy’s Day? Then this is the camp for you! Each day we will celebrate a different holiday, with holiday-themed snacks, crafts, and activities. From New Year’s Day to the 12th Day of Christmas, we’ll celebrate them all! Magical, Mystical Hoover August 19-23* Come discover your mysterious side during this magical week at Hoover! We’ll explore the old Ice House, find out what’s afoot on Dolphin Island, search for cryptids and collect edible plants in the deep dark woods, and create magical “spells” that will astound your families and friends. BYOF: Bring Your Own Fog! *Optional Thursday overnight: $20 per camper

Camp Trefoil Harrisville, NY • Est. 1949 Located on the edge of the Adirondacks, Trefoil offers our only high and low ropes course and water trampoline! This intimate, outdoorsy setting provides campers with adventure, new friends, and lasting memories.

Girls-Only Overnight Camps Hiking Intro June 14-16 Girls entering grades 6-12 Calling all hiking beginners and experts! Experience a weekend of hiking adventure as we tackle the Tupper Lake Triad mountains in the Adirondacks. Friday night we’ll stay at Trefoil as we pack and prepare for the trip. Saturday and Sunday we’ll hike Arab (and its fire tower), Goodman, and Coney mountains. All are easy hikes ranging from 2-3.5 miles roundtrip. Saturday night we’ll tent camp at a Tupper Lake-area campground. Upon completion of all three hikes, participants will be registered on the official Tupper Lake Triad roster and receive the official patch. This weekend trip is a great introduction to hiking and tent camping as we get our boots muddy! All Things Trefoil July 7-12 Girls entering grades 2-12 Do you want to experience all that Trefoil has to offer, make new friends, and experience a week of adventure? This week at camp will feature all your Trefoil favorites: boating, hiking, mountain biking, archery, ropes course, and more! We’ll build cardboard boats, take a night hike around camp, and pie our counselors, too! Wild & Wacky July 14-19 Girls entering grades 4-12 Back by popular demand—but with more wild and wacky twists! Bring your silliest self and prepare for the fun because this week at camp is all about wacky surprises with your friends. We will have a paint fight, plan a prank, and discover some zany surprises. You will also have time to participate in all your favorite classic camp activities, too. Forest Friends July 21-26 Girls entering grades 2-12 Explore the outdoors this week at camp! You’ll learn about what kinds of creatures call Camp Trefoil home, build a bird feeder, make nature art and more. Discover more about how you can make the world a better place by being environmentally friendly and experience everything that classic camp offers too.

Mini Session July 28-30 Girls entering grades 1-5 Not ready for a full week at camp yet? Get a taste of summer camp life with a mini session! Spend three days and two nights participating in our classic camp activities. C/S/A Mini Session July 28-30 Girls entering grades 6-12 This mini-session is exclusive to Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors! Spend three days and two nights at camp relaxing with your friends. Hang in a hammock, paddle a canoe, make a friendship bracelet, and chill by the fire! Saranac 6er Hiking Trip August 11-16 Girls entering grades 7-12 $650 per camper Grab your hiking boots as we tackle half of the Saranac Lake 6er hiking challenge! Campers will spend the first night at Trefoil packing and preparing for our Adirondack adventure. The rest of the week will be spent tent camping at a campground in the Saranac Lake region. We will hike three of the six mountains. Campers must have prior hiking experience and be prepared to hike all three mountains. Get ready to pack your backpack, challenge yourself, and make once-in-a-lifetime memories!

Important Reminders Remember: registration opens at 9 a.m. on January 17 for returning campers and 9 a.m. on January 31 for everyone else! A minimum number of campers is required to run all programming. If the minimum is not met, camps may be subject to cancellation. For a full list of FAQs, visit girlslovecamp.org. The last day of standard registration (and the date all final payments are due) is June 1. After June 1, payment for all camps is due in full at the time of registration.
