11th Grade

Emma is an 11th grader at Princeton High School. She has been a Girl Scout for 11 years and has been involved with all aspects of Girl Scouting, from selling cookies to Girl Governance. She is most proud of earning her Trifecta Award, which she earned for completing her Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. Outside of Girl Scouts, she is a competitive Irish Dancer at the Nicholl School of Irish Dance, runs track, and volunteers for the Helene Cody Foundation where she was chosen as a Helene Cody Scholar. She is also a counselor for the Princeton Recreation Department Track Camp. This is her third year participating in Take the Lead, having served as an emcee and social media campaign leader. She plans to attend college after high school, and while she is not yet sure of her career path, she knows Girl Scouts has provided her with a strong foundation of leadership skills that will prove successful in any career she chooses.

8th Grade

Maia is an 8th grader and is most proud of being a Cookie Boss year after year in Girl Scouts. She is going into her 7th year at Girl Scout camp and is involved in many activities outside of Girl Scouts including Pennsylvania Girl Choir, CISV, student council, and her church’s youth group. She has previously participated in Take the Lead events as a member of the choir, Choir Lead, and Campership Lead. She is looking forward to starting a career in medicine or music after high school.
