Each camper must be signed out by someone listed on their Girl Release Card who shows valid ID. If you arrive late to pick up your camper or your camper is in Extend-a-Camp, you will need to walk from McBeth Recreation Center to Zilker Cabin for pick-up.

We also need adult volunteers in order to operate this outstanding experience. A camper can attend free of charge if a guardian volunteers to work with the Zilker staff for the duration of the week. Contact Alicia Gust, Senior Camp Services Manager, for more information: AliciaG@ gsctx.org.

More info about your camper’s day Campers are outside in the elements all day and should dress for the heat. Lunch is picnic style and lunches will be kept cool, but not cold. Campers will go swimming at a local pool every day except field trip days. There will be a field trip once each week, usually on Wednesday. Parents will receive information on the field trip during Monday check-in. Campers must wear their camp t-shirt on field trip day. Transportation for swimming and field trips is provided by chartered bus. GSCTX SUMMER CAMP GUIDE
