We care about empowering girls and young women to have their voices heard, and campaign on the issues they care most about. From the successful #EndPeriodPoverty campaign, to the Year of Young People 2018, to our campaign and badge Media Mindful, we have been making a difference in Scotland. Our panel of Speak Out champions lead the way on our advocacy work, having their voices heard at the highest levels. Each year, 20 Champions aged 14-25 from all across the country are selected to be the voice of Girlguiding Scotland, to represent us in decision-making spaces, and to bring their voice and the voices of their peers to the campaigns they design and lead. This zine represents them: their passions, aspirations, and achievements so far. We hope you enjoy finding out more about our incredible group of champions, and take inspiration from their work to make your own changes, however big or small. Together, Girlguiding represents a dynamic force for good, and our collective voice is our most important superpower.”
