About Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) was established by Late Shri. S. B. Patil in the year 1990 with a vision to provide value added educational platform to the society in multiple dimensions right from Nursery to Doctoral programs in all professional streams enabling all our students to achieve freedom through education. INFRASTRUCTURE Computer Lab We have two advanced and well equipped computer labs with seating capacity of 45 each. The labs are well equipped with lease line internet connection of 8MBPS, Scanners, printers, MSDN software, all legal software and antivirus. The lab also has a language lab for improving the accent, voice modulation, pronunciation with proper construction of simple and complex sentences.

Library The library is well equipped with 3994 books with 1030 titles, 69 international and national journals, 1929 Management Journals. The library is fully equipped with renowned E-Journals like; Ebsco, J-Gate. There is rich collection of publication that covers n-number of topics such as accounting, banking, finance, international business, marketing, and sales. Books on personal enhancement are the attraction of the library. The library is spacious, ventilated and well furnished that creates a pleasant interest in students for reading.

Class room Students learn with zeal if the classroom environment is pleasant. In SBPIM all class rooms are spacious and well ventilated. The seating capacity of each class room is of 60 students, the class rooms are well equipped with latest seating arrangements with LCD projectors facilities. In addition to the class rooms, the institute has tutorial rooms for a close group discussion.

Seminar hall The institute has 2 seminar halls, of which one is fully air conditioned. The seminar halls have seating capacity to take care of all the programs conducted there. The halls have modern PA systems and multimedia facilities.

Sports facilities The institute is well equipped with sports facilities for the students, which includes indoor as well as out- door games such as Cricket, table tennis, chess, and carrom. The ground for cricket, volleyball, basketball and football is spacious and well maintained.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE AS PER DTE – CET/CAT/MAT/AMMI ENTRANCE EXAM Management Quota Seats are filled as per guidelines of the DTE. Interim Fees The interim fees as approved by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti are Rs. 78,000=00 .The same is subject to change as per the advice of the shikshan Shulka Samiti. The student will have to pay the revised fee if any as and when approval for the same is received from the Shikshan Shulka Samiti. General Conduct and Discipline All the students are expected to be disciplined and well behaved. Students are advised to read the code of Conduct. Instructions will be strictly observed by all the students throughout the course. Ignorance of Rules will not be accepted as an excuse. Decision of the Management will be final and binding for all students. The rules mentioned below are meant to regulate discipline in our campus. u Students must be seated in the classrooms five minutes before the scheduled time. u No student will be allowed to enter the class/ knock at the door or leave the class once the faculty is in the class room. u No student will be seen loitering around when the scheduled class is on. u All mobiles and communication devices, if any, will be switched off in the Academic Block. u Smoking, chewing of tobacco and pan masala in campus and such indecent activities are strictly prohibited. u Students should be dressed appropriately as per laid down norms. Slippers, jeans, t-shirts etc. are not allowed in the campus. Jeans & t-shirts will only be worn on stipulated days as decided by the management. u Absence from tests/examinations/ tutorials and non submission of assignments in time will make student ineligible for internal assessment. No excuse will be entertained. u Students should keep themselves abreast of day to day activities of the Institute and abide by all communications put up on the notice board / website. u Writing graffiti on the walls of the campus, chairs and tables or any where is an act of indiscipline. Such acts will attract severe punishments / fine. u Disrespect or discourtesy to guests, faculty and office staff will be considered as an act of indiscipline. u Misbehavior, habitual late coming, disobedience, absenteeism, consumption of drugs, alcohol in the premises, malpractices, cheating in the exam, and other such acts unbecoming of a management student shall attract being placed on Director's RED LIST. u Minimum attendance of 85% is prime eligibility for appearing in the examinations and to avail the campus placement facility. u Tuition fee and other dues shall be paid by due date. Defaulters shall be governed by the Rules relating to fees payment schedule. u Co-curricular activities shall not be considered as an excuse for lack of attendance, unless otherwise permitted by the Management. u Tearing of pages from the Library books will be viewed seriously, the student returning the book shall be held responsible for making good the damages / replacement of book. u Rules of the Institute can and will be changed at appropriate times keeping in view the best interest of students and the institute. u Anti Ragging: Anyone found indulging in ragging in any form within or outside the campus, shall be instantly expelled from the Institute (Ref: The Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999).
