Gazebo Replacement Canopy

Remove the canopy, pegs and guy ropes from the carry bag. Unzip the carry bag and lay the unit on the ground, logo side down. Peel off the lower part of the bag and stand it back upright. Using the handles slide the bag upwards and remove it totally from the frame.

Using 2 people place your hands on the upper top leg caps and separate the frame to the 1.5m (5 Feet) wide. Simply open your arms outwards whilst lifting the frame slightly to obtain this position.

Correctly fit the canopy and raise the centre pole into its fixed position by placing your hand on the centre cap and lifting vertically. The canopy should be evenly placed over the frame and hang over the sides by approximately 300mm (1 Foot). Ensure the reinforced section of the canopy is placed over the centre cap and that the inner velcro corners of the canopy are pressed onto the opposing velcro pieces on the top of the outer legs. Lift the frame and extend the lower legs into the first position by sliding the foot plate down 2 at a time. It is not necessary to pull the lower pull pin as the legs are not fixed into position. Just hold the lower pull ring in one hand whilst sliding the lower leg down, the leg will find its position naturally whilst sliding. Note, the middle leg must not be slid out at this stage of the assembly process. With 2 people at opposite ends grasp the middle lower “V section of the cross bow frame work and expand by walking backwards. If necessary jiggle the frame up and down whilst expanding into position. The frame should now be almost fully opened, make sure the canopy falls into position in all sections of the frame work. Setting Up

Pull the middle leg pull ring pin and raise the middle leg into position. This has only one location position so after the pin is pulled and you have started to raise the frame by holding the upper leg release the pin and allow the middle leg to find its position naturally.

Lock the upper pull ring into place by standing on the lower foot plate and pushing upwards on the corner cross bows. The pin will locate naturally once it aligns with the hole. Note: If the frame has not been almost opened prior to this step it may inhibit this manoeuvre. (Refer to step 5).

On the inside of the canopy wrap the velcro straps around the frame and back onto the velcro to keep the canopy secured to the frame.

It is now time to adjust the height of your marquee. There are 5 positions available and we recommend that the frame is set up parallel to the horizon. The leg height adjustment is in the lower leg, just pull the pull ring pin and slide the leg down to your desired height. Note: Avoid standing on the foot plate whilst adjusting the height as this inhibits smooth operation of the frame work. Pull the lower pull ring and use your other hand to slide the leg downwards into position. Once in position it is now time to tie down your marquee by following the tie down instructions.

Packing Up To pack up your Compact Canopy simply follow the set-up instructions in reverse. Make sure STEP 8 is reversed otherwise you may damage the canopy whilst folding down. Ensure the canopy is safely removed and stored in the carry bag pocket after use. * Please carefully read and comply with the Tie Down Instructions Page 4

Tying Down 1

Gazebo Replacement Canopy

As soon as your Compact Canopy is assembled and at the correct height we recommend to have one person hold the centre of the frame whilst the other person hammers the pegs through any of the 3 positions in the foot plates. For windy conditions use 2 pegs per leg as desired. If you are setting up on a hard surface please utilise our sandbag or steel leg weight options below.

2

Always use the guy ropes provided for additional tie down purposes. Feed the rope through the canopy eyelets and around the inside of the upper frame leg. Once through the eyelets tie a secure knot on the outside of the canopy. This step can be done prior to raising the leg heights.

3 Peg the guy rope pieces firmly in the ground between a 15-45 degree angle from the top.

Place your side wall kit close to your assembled Compact Canopy. Unpack the wall kit from the bag.

Start in the corner of one leg with the zip lined up in the middle of the leg on the outside. Evenly join the velcro on the wall kit to the canopy valance on the inside. Follow the wall around the entire frame keeping the wall and canopy as tightly sealed as possible.

Once you have fully fitted the walls join the 2 sections using the zips and then pull the canopy valance back and tuck the upper zipped section under the canopy valance.

4 Wrap the velcro straps around the legs to secure the wall correctly to the Gazebo frame

5 Ensure the lower elastic straps are hooked in the holes at the bottom of the Gazebo legs.

6 To open the double zipped doors simply unzip both zips

7 Roll up internally using the 3 elastic straps at the top to secure the door flap.

If windy we advise to peg the side walls down through the eyelets at the bottom of the walls.

The multi walls in the side wall kits can be used as a solid wall if left zipped up or if you wish to have some air flow through the no see-um mesh you can roll the outer flap up and tie the flap up the same as the doors.

Versatile

Optional Extra 3m PVC window that attaches using velcro around the perimeter of the window. This will then allow you to see through without allowing the wind to flow through on colder days.
