Walking into Bamba Hotel, you’re not quite sure if it’s a hostel or hotel, but you quickly find that it has the best of both worlds. Bamba has the social atmosphere of a hostel with many places to meet new people, whether it’s poolside or bar side; a few times a week they host a live DJ in a set called Sound System. Bamba also has the luxury feel of a hotel with free towel hire, shampoo and body soap in the shower, and complimentary breakfast at the adjoined restaurant. In the restaurant, an internationally trained chef creates a unique fusion of Western and Indonesian flavors to spice up traditional dishes.
