GARRETT HOUSE IS AN EMERGING ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER, FUTURIST, AND OPTIMIST WITH INTEREST IN DESIGN TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN RESEARCH. Garrett is a recent graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, where he held advanced standing in the Master of Architecture 2+ program. Within the Sam Fox School of Design, Garrett served as a teaching assistant for graduate design studios and held multiple research assistantships. Additionally, he has served on the board of the Graduate Architecture Council as the Information Technology Representative. Garrett was named the 2015 Konzen Family Scholar for superior academic performance, contributions in teaching, and involvement in faculty research. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Degree from Roger Williams University. He received a national award for academic achievement and student leadership in addition to earning a medal from the University Honors Program. Garrett has collaborated with AGENCY Architecture on projects and publications concerning the big oil industry, environmental activism, binational borders, refugee migration, informal settlement, and military simulation typologies. Garrett has also worked with Austin, Patterson, Disston Architects on a number of high-end residential and commercial projects.
