Political Pages What’s happening in the political world? The United Kingdom is facing uncertainty towards the Brexit vote made by the British public. The United States had a presidential feud between Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. 30th November 2016

Issue 2

The United Kingdom is facing uncertainty towards the Brexit vote made by the British public, David Cameron our former Prime Minister feeling the urge to step down and leave as our leader. Even though there were warning signs given by the Conservative party, we as the working British public ignored them and carried on to vote out of the EU. Our neighbouring European countries were strongly disappointed about the British publics’ decision and even made threats towards the UK. The British pound dropped dramatically and the price of every-day items got a lot more expensive. We are slowly recovering after this great drop in the value of the pound. We all watched the United States presidential election progress throughout these couple of months, especially the past few weeks, until the day came when the people voted for their new president. We all woke up to the astonishing news of Donald Trump becoming the new president of the United States, leaving the whole of the world in shock. Prime Ministers and other world leaders rang up to congratulate the new president but most of the world was in mourning after the choice America made. Mr Trump will now become one of the most powerful leaders in the world. He is in charge of one the greatest nations on Earth. After Donald Trump became the President the world fell into a financial disaster as all the most important currencies fell by 5%. It is rather annoying how the rest of the world will have to endure the consequences simply because of because of one person coming to power. Donald trump. But who would you vote for? Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton?

The gemstones measure 14mm x 19mm which is pretty small. The Ringly is water resistant but not water proof. On the side of the ring there is a small led light which is used to notify the person who is wearing it. Also the ring comes in 5 sizes.

App The Ringly connects to an app which is available for android and ios devices. The app allows the user to customise the vibration patterns and the flashing of the LED light. The app allows the ring to connect to over 100+ apps like Instagram, Snapchat and WhatsApp, which can be shown by the LED light and vibration patterns. So you could customize the ring to flash green for a text message or a 30th November 2016

call. The Ringly connects as far as 20-30 feet from your phone so you can stay alerted even if your phone isn’t close to you. Battery The Ringly comes with a charging box which has an 8-10 day battery life and the Ringly itself has great battery life of 24-48 hours (depending on usage) for how small it is.

Techno Time Overall Review Pros  Easy to connect  LED light is a simple way to receive notification  Has a great battery life

Cons  Looks cheap  Style won't suit everyone  Might be confusing with due to different patterns vibration

Rating:

My opinion: I believe it is a cool and stylish gadget to have but it is not really needed due to how expensive it is when other wearable tech is available on the market for around the same price that has more features. MisFit Shine 2 Price range: £79.99 Design The Misfit shine 2 currently comes in 2 colours (Carbon Black and Rose Gold. The fitness tracker itself is in the form of a small metallic disk with a silicon band which is comfortable and simple. The Misfit shine 2 also comes with an action clip which can be clipped to your shirt belt etc. for a more discreet fitness tracker. Issue 2

My opinion: I believe it is a simple way to track your activity as well as receive text messages etc. with ease. However there are cheaper fitness trackers (like the Fitbit Blaze Small Classic Accessory Band) which are ÂŁ19.99 and have a display screen and heart rate monitor.

Diabetes Facts There are 2 types of diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is when your body’s immune system attacks and destroys cells that produce insulin. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body doesn't produce enough insulin, or the body's cells doesn’t react to insulin. blood in your blood is controlled by a hormone called insulin. When you consume food your insulin moves and removes glucose and turns it into energy but with diabetes you are unable to break down the glucose. This is either due to there is not enough insulin to move the glucose or the insulin is not working properly.

Type 1 diabetes can quickly develop between 1 week or days while type 2 diabetes can stay with you without you noticing. Diabetes is a lifelong condition and there’s currently nothing to stop it yet. If you have a close relative – such as a parent, brother or sister – with type 1 diabetes, you have about a 6% chance of also developing the condition. The risk for people who don't have a close relative with type 1 diabetes is just under 0.5%.
