Brittany Hege is a math educator who has worked with students and teachers in both upper elementary and middle grades. She holds a master's degree in Elementary Mathematics Education and is passionate about helping teachers grow their understanding of the math concepts they teach. Brittany believes in the power of experiencing math through hands-on work and uses her platform, Mix and Math, to equip upper elementary teachers with the knowledge and confidence to inspire a generation of empowered math learners.

Joanne has been changing lives teaching for 26 years. She is a fourth-grade classroom teacher who continues to passionately and relentlessly pursue limitless futures for her students Joanne creates a class family and culture of learning where each class member holds themselves responsible for their learning and for leaving no other student in the class behind. Joanne prides her classroom on making differentiated, standards-aligned content not only engaging and challenging, but student-centered and fun! She shares her creative and motivational expertise on her social media, (Head Over Heels For Teaching).

JOANNE MILLER

Shane is currently a district-level instructional coach in Colorado. She coaches teachers and administrators as well as presents professional development for educators K-12 She has two Master’s degrees, one in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on literacy and one in School Leadership. She is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Equity and looking to graduate in Spring 2024. Shane presents nationally on topics such as the science of learning, the science of reading, and on her book Be the Flame, which focuses on building relationships and community within education.

Megan Polk is an educator and literacy specialist living in Nashville, Tennessee. She has over a decade of teaching experience across elementary grades and uses best practices and innovation to meet and reach students where they are. Megan is the content creator behind The Literacy Dive where she creates reading and writing resources that are creative, effective, high-impact, and comprehensive. She is the founder of The Daily Writing Disguise, a writing membership, that prioritizes daily writing and embeds various types of writing and skills into writing activities in an intriguing and interactive way. Megan is dedicated to supporting teachers, parents, and students everywhere! She loves connecting with educators through Instagram and enjoys diving into ALL things literacy every Monday on The Literacy Dive Podcast. She seeks to equip teachers who share similar challenges and have the same mission: to close the gap, to increase student confidence and achievement, and to develop students who will expand their true love for literacy. Megan has presented at local, regional, and national teacher conferences and enjoys sharing her expertise and passion for literacy. Megan realizes the power of collaboration and the positive impact it holds - teachers are truly better together!

MEGAN POLK

Juan Edgar Gonzalez Jr. is an elementary public school teacher in Dickinson, Texas. Since he was a kid, he knew teaching would be a future chapter in his life. If you were to rummage through old family photos, you’d quickly find pictures of Juan holding a book or attempting to teach his younger brothers something new Juan pursued this dream and obtained a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies at the University of Houston. With over ten years of classroom experience in first, second, and third grade, he has learned that in order to create a nurturing classroom experience, educators must put students before everything else they do in the classroom. Juan believes that educators are most successful when we listen to what students need and who they are. In the last few years, Juan has used social media to share ideas and his love for literacy with other educators. This platform has given Juan opportunities to travel around the world to visit schools, blog for publishing media giant Scholastic Inc , and speak at various education conferences His mission through this work is to spotlight the great work all educators are doing in classrooms and to inspire everyone to read more books.

JUAN E GONZALEZ JR.

Rebekah Poe, M. Ed. is an award-winning former special education teacher and a national teaching conference presenter with over a decade of experience in the special education field. She has experience at every grade level and in every type of classroom- from high school transition programs and multiple disability selfcontained classes to middle school co-teaching and elementary resource As a presenter and speaker, Rebekah focuses on providing teachers with the training necessary to offer equitable education and establish connections to students of all ability levels in an inclusive setting. She has created differentiated resources for companies like LEGO Education to ensure accessibility for all. Her first book Blueprint for Inclusion will be available late 2024. REBEKAH POE

Originally from Long Island, New York, Chris is an award-winning educator, administrator, and professional speaker and host with a passion for education. He is a double graduate of the University of Central Florida with degrees in Elementary Education (B.S) and Educational Leadership (M.Ed) and has served as a highly effective teacher, instructional coach, and administrator in both Orlando, FL and Harlem, NY. A former employee of the Walt Disney Company and lead host for Radio Disney in both the New York City and Orlando markets, Chris has years of experience captivating audiences, families, and clients with his high energy and enthusiasm and has since found a way to bring that same experience and “magic” into schools and classrooms throughout the country. Because of this, Chris was honored with Macy’s Magic of Teaching: Magic of Innovation Award, awarded the Elementary School Teacher of the Year and overall District Teacher of the Year for his district, named one of UCF’s Top 30 Under 30, and had the opportunity to ring the closing bell of the Nasdaq Stock Market closing bell in New York City.

CHRIS POMBONYO

Ashley Schroeder is a dedicated and passionate 2nd-grade teacher in Northeast Ohio Ashley got her first classroom in 2006 and has been bringing passion, creativity, and a commitment to excellence to the classroom for the last 18 years Ashley is a proud graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Elementary Education, and she furthered her education by earning a Master's in Education from Saint Francis University. Ashley is also LETRS trained which is rooted in the science of reading. Ashley's teaching philosophy revolves around the effectiveness and impact of a well-managed classroom that is firmly grounded in systems and routines as well as in consistent expectations. By drawing on her own 18 years of classroom experience, Ashley cultivates meaningful learning experiences for students that engage every student every time while creating an atmosphere and a classroom community where every learner feels seen, heard, and valued. A student centered classroom community is the foundation for this positive and inclusive classroom culture that not only enhances academic achievement through best instructional practices but also lays the foundation for lifelong skills such as independent responsibility and accountability, problem solving, empathy, and critical thinking. This commitment to excellence extends beyond the physical classroom as Ashley actively engages with her peers on social media and participates in, attends, and presents at educational conferences like Get Your Teach On. She’s passionate about connecting with other teachers while creating dialogue around and sharing her practical and most effective tips for turning the chaos into calm in a way that maximizes instructional time. Through her consistent approaches, relentless enthusiasm, and dedication to student success, Ashley strives to positively shape the future, one classroom at a time.

ASHLEY SCHROEDER

Amelia Capotosta is an Ohio educator, who brings a contagious amount of enthusiasm, positivity, and creativity to the education world.
