Additions to the flow: T-DOC administration and management Information concerning instruments, users, processes and much more can be accessed and managed through the T-DOC administrational workstation. All actions carried out during the production cycle are documented and relevant data can be derived as reports or with simple on-screen queries.

Customer dispatch Upon order, items are dispatched to the customer in question. By scanning a customer barcode it is recorded to whom the items are sent.

Keeping track in the operating room The used instruments, implants and disposables can be linked to a patient or journal number. The actual cost of patient treatment is documented and stored.

Post-surgery procedures After surgery, all instruments are accounted for and reprocessed for immediate use or returned to the Sterilization Department.

Return of used items Used items are returned to the Sterilization Department and scanned. T-DOC alerts staff about any instruments that have reached their life-span and provides pictures to assist in dismantling, servicing and cleaning.

In the stock area, orders can be sent directly from T-DOC to a central material management system. In the Operation Department, T-DOC can receive information about scheduled operations, and in the Sterilization Department processing costs can be sent directly from T-DOC to the financial system.
