Catch is an aggregated system of student living apartments creating unique living areas by directing and capturing light in and around the apartments. The differing orientation of the apartments, time of day and location of the aggregation was paramount when considering the organisation of the apartments and designing the communal spaces. Each apartment provides a unique feel, with different quality of light, mood and tone at different times of the day. Similar to the way crystals behave, the apartments have a close relationship to catching and reflecting light, as well as a close relationship with the ground. The apartments follow the contours of the site, each one nestled into the ground, reflecting how a crystal would attach itself to a rock.

Kintore Avenue and Victoria Drive will be transformed to provide a more pedestrian focused precinct. View from River Torrens
