Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall

eorgia’s $40 million expansion and renovation of Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall makes it one of the nation’s top facilities. Named for
coaches Wallace Butts and Harry Mehre, ButtsMehre Heritage Hall is the nerve center of the UGA Athletic Association. The building houses the players’ headquarters, including the locker room, the weight room, the sports medicine area, and meeting rooms, along with the coaches’ offices and meeting spaces, and the administrative offices of the Athletic Association. Additionally, the building displays exhibits and artifacts celebrating Georgia’s academic and athletic excellence. The second floor includes the Larry Munson Trophy Room, named in honor of Georgia’s legendary former radio broadcaster.
