Dr. Carla Williams LaGrange native Carla (Green) Williams was a standout for the Lady Bulldogs in the 1980s. She now has a strong reputation as one of the top athletics administrators in the nation and serves as the athletics director at the University of Virginia. Following a distinguished career at Georgia, Williams became the first African-American female athletics director at an Autonomy Five school when she was tabbed Virginia’s AD last October.

Tiffany Daniels Tiffany Daniels currently serves as the Associate Commissioner for Competition and Senior Woman Administrator for the Southeastern Conference. Daniels earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Georgia where she was a four-year letter-winner for the Lady Bulldogs. Among other accomplishments, Daniels was the first women’s basketball student-athlete to earn an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. She earned a master’s in sports management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Rebecca Rowsey Desso Rebecca Rowsey was emblematic of the term ‘studentathlete’ during her career at the University of Georgia. She balanced life on and off the court as a biology major at UGA. Currently, she is a practicing anesthesiologist at the University of Utah Medical Center.
