Josh Lee
As a coach, Lee was part of the Valdosta State program in 2004 that won the D-II national title. Georgia earned a trip to a BCS bowl -- Nokia Sugar -- in 2005 when Lee was a graduate assistant and in 2006 to the Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta. Lee earned his undergraduate degree from Valdosta State in 2005. Lee and his wife Heather have three children: Bryant (4), Taylor (2) and Thomas, born in February of 2015.
Director of Football Operations Josh Lee was named Director of Football Operations in December, 2014. As operations director, Lee is responsible for organizing all team-related activities, including travel, as well as implementing and monitoring the program
budget. This marks Lee’s second stint with the Bulldogs, as he was a graduate assistant for two years (2005-06). Prior to returning Athens, Lee worked in the technology industry in Birmingham, Alabama, for three years beginning in May of 2012. A graduate of Valdosta State, Lee began his athletic career at his alma mater, working with the quarterbacks over the course of two seasons (2003-04). From Valdosta State, Lee moved on to work as a graduate assistant with the UGA football program, working primarily with the wide receivers, from 2005-06. From 2006-11, Lee spent five years on the University of Alabama-Birmingham football staff, including the final three as Director of Football Operations. He spent his first two years at UAB working as the Blazers’ video coordinator for the football program.

Marshall Malchow Director of Player Personnel Marshall Malchow was named director of personnel at UGA on January 3, 2015, after serving two years as in the same position at the University of Washington. A native of Augusta, Malchow joined the Washington staff in 2014 as director of player personnel and began overseeing all aspects of football recruiting in 2015. He originally joined Chris Petersen’s staff at Boise State in 2012 as assistant director of player personnel prior to serving the 2013 season at Louisville as director of on-campus recruiting. At the University of Alabama he served as a recruiting specialist in the player personnel department for three years. Malchow was married to the former Greyson Walker, also a native of Augusta, in May of 2015.
