support staff Carter Blount Quality Control Coordinator - Special Teams

Carter Blount, a native of Mobile, Alabama, joined the Bulldog staff in February, 2015, as Special Teams Quality Control Coordinator. His responsibilities include film breakdown and analyzing special teams. Prior to joining the UGA staff, Blount served as the Corners Coach and Special Teams Coordinator at Birmingham Southern College in 2014. From 2011-2013, he held a graduate assistant position at University of South Alabama. In 2010, he was the Linebackers Coach at Tuscaloosa County High School and from 2008-2009 was a student assistant at the University of Alabama. Blount received his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama in 2010 and Masters Degree in Health Education from the University of South Alabama in 2013.

Aaron Hill Quality Control Coordinator - Offense

Aaron Hill, a native of Gulf Breeze, Fla., was named a quality a control analyst for the UGA football team in February, 2015. Prior to joining the Georgia staff, Hill was the Director of High School Relations and Assistant Strength Coach at Marshall University. Over his four seasons at Marshall, the Herd won back-toback Conference USA titles in 2013 and 2014. Hill received a Master’s Degree in Science in Adult Technical Education from Marshall in December of 2012. In 2010, Hill spent one season at Greensboro College in North Carolina where he served multiple roles including offensive line coach and strength and conditioning coordinator. A graduate of LaGrange College, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and worked as an intern on the strength and conditioning staff from 2007 until his graduation in 2010. Hill is married to the former Katie Greer.

Blake Shrader Quality Control Coordinator - Defense

Blake Shrader was named the Defensive Quality Control Coordinator in 2015. Prior to joining Georgia’s staff, Shrader served for one year as Director of Player Personnel at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While there, UAB upset Conference USA rival Southern Mississippi, making UAB bowl eligible for the first time since 2004. In 2013, Shrader worked at Jacksonville State, serving as the cornerback and nickel back coach. In his one year at JSU, the Gamecocks earned the highest NCAA Division I final ranking in school history. Prior to his year at JSU, Shrader worked as a defensive graduate assistant at South Alabama. In 2012, the Jaguars completed their first full season of competition in the Sun Belt Conference, ranking second in the league in total defense. A native of Stevenson, Ala., Shrader began his coaching career at Auburn, where he served as the Defensive Quality Control coordinator from 2008-09. He earned three letters as a player for the Tigers from 2004-07 and made four straight bowl appearances. He graduated from Auburn in 2008 with a degree in Science in Education (Health Promotion). Shrader was an all-state selection at North Jackson High School in both his junior and senior years. He is married to the former Shanda Thomas.
